Esstac 5.56 Single KYWI Pouch - Midlength

The KYWI revolution has come full circle- ESSTAC Wedges are now available with KYWI's installed in both 5.56 and 7.62. These unique hand-formed Kydex Wedge Inserts (KYWI) will give you just the right retention for secure carriage of your loaded mags, with immediate release with a sharp pull of the magazine. These install on your kit with Malice Clips (not included). Add some KYWI capability to your mags today!

    I’ve used Tactical Tailor and Blue Force Gear alike, but nothing beats the Esstac’s retention and accessibility. Running stress shooting and conducting fire and maneuver I’ve lost countless mags while using BFG, but not Esstac. I couldn’t recommend a more durable or easily accessible pouch on the market.

    Awesome pouches. Great retention and ease of draw. Went with multiple single pouches to more precisely space them out to my liking. However, don’t look past their double and triple mag pouches for a better deal. Recently put them through a 2 day carbine/pistol course and they perform perfectly. Love me some Esstac, and SKD is definitely the place to pick up your gear. Great prices, great customer service, and fast shipping. Customer for life.

    Well constructed item. Securely holds standard 5.56 magazines (USGI, Magpul, HexMag, etc.). Good selection of colors. Requires separate purchase of mounting options, based on userÕs preference. Recommended by Mike at Garand Thumb.

    Great product, fast shipping just in time to get setup for training. Holds mags securely, but they are easy to retrieve for a reload. Works well with the short versions on the same belt and just as secure.

    Retention is great, quality is great...haven't been able to abuse it much, but I'm positive it'll hold up.

    Running a Ronin Tactics belt and these pouches with malice clips for 2 gun competitions and in general hard use classes. Esstac pouches with the kydex inserts have great retention and donÕt move at all, even during full sprints, kneeling, prone or obstacle movements. They also donÕt have any excess material hanging off of the pouches. Everything you need, nothing you donÕt.

    As always, a quality product from Esstac. The midlength is a happy medium between the shorty and the full length. 5/5 will buy more of.
