FirstSpear Patrol Radio Pouch
The FS Patrol Radio Pouch was designed around the MT and XTS family of Motorola radios but will accommodate most public safety styled radios, with or without shoulder mic attachment.
Developed specifically for those Users who have not yet adopted FirstSpear™ 6/12™ platforms, the 6/9™ Modular Pocket Technology is not only completely backward compatible with legacy MOLLE/PALS style load carriage or armor carrier platforms, but also offers significant weight reduction over traditional MOLLE/PALS pockets.
Due to the flexible nature of the attachment straps and tighter tolerances when compared to traditional MOLLE/PALS, 6/9™ pockets actually mount closer to the body and conform tighter to the platform.
Already adopted by Professional Users within the joint US Special Operations Forces community, this system provides many advantages over the traditional MOLLE/PALS system and can further help facilitate transition into the 6/12™ Modular Pocket Technology where the ultimate in weight savings, signature management and tight fit can be achieved.
This is the best pouch I have found to hold my Motorola XTS 2500i radio w/ the extended mic to my external vest. It’s a perfect fit and keeps the radio close to the vest.
Very, light and well built. I think what I liked best about the construction is that he MOLLE straps are soft and don’t have some weird snap or buckle in the end of them. They simply just tuck back into the webbing or whatever mounting channel the pouch is attached to. Sounds like an inferior design, but honestly it’s a simple, user friendly, easy to repair if need be, light, and effective mounting solution. All those points I think make it a superior method. Then again it’s First Spear so it’s kinda expected.
Fits my duty radio perfectly even with the trucker mic attached quality pouch from first spear
This is the most gucci radio pouch you can buy, made by the tactical geniuses at First-Spear. Weighs almost nothing and holds a patrol type radio. Great piece of kit.
I love this thing compared to trying to keep my work radio clipped on my kit or belt. Very high quality and I like the lighter weight material (collapses well when not filled)....... But I am not a velcro fan. I wish they had just extended the bungee all the way to the front to a snap or hook. But that is personal opinion and the only reason I gave it 4 stars. If you like velcro or don't mind it, it's is perfect.
