I bought this refocusing cover for my PVS 14.It fits like a glove, and is manufactured with a variety of apertures(different sizes for different applications). It has a built in sacrificial lens cover. I debated on spending over twice the amount for the Matbock Tarsier, but I think this was the best bang for the buck!I was impressed when I engaged the aperture, and could read stuff close up in smaller font size. Of course, with using the refocusing cover, you are limiting the amount of background light into the tube. Therefore, you will need IR illumination to make up for the reduced background light,of course, this depends on the amount of natural background light at the time. When not looking at things close up,you just flip the cover to the side out of the way so you are the focused on stuff down range. In summary, this product will have good use in the field, not too expensive, built in sacrificial lens, and a game changer for reading stuff up close with night vision!
Did what it says it’d do. With my PVS 14’s IR Illuminator on I can now focus close and at infinite distance at the same time.
