RE Factor Tactical Tourniquet Holder
The Tourniquet Holder is the first tourniquet holder designed to allow the user to carry their tourniquet either overtly or covertly. The holder allows the user to velcro the holder to a vest or vehicle door, weave it into MOLLE gear or strap it to a belt. The straps of the holder are made to stretch to ensure a tight fit to a wide variety of conventional tourniquets.
- Adheres to velcro, MOLLE or a belt
- One hand pull tab for quick release
- Elastic strap for increase retainability
- 1000D Cordura
- Made in the USA
I love the quick release feature but the elastic part is about 1/2 inch too long for a CAT. Specifically, in order to secure the TQ without excess movement, the bottom elastic has to be wrapped around and almost under the TQ which makes the top strap nearly useless as a quick release. I plan on having a local seamstress shorten the elastic portion and that should fix the issue.
Not a fan. I got two, one for my gun belt, and the other for my plate carrier. I really wanted this to work well on my gun belt but it didn’t hold up. I stowed my SOF-T Wide in it located towards my back right behind my kydex Glock holster. The problem is from getting in and out of a vehicle, the damn tourniquet kept falling out. In the past, I used boot bands that did a hell of a better job than this. Yes, I could put it somewhere else but this is where I’ve trained and Where I’m use to having my tourniquet at. In all, might be going back to boot bands.
I bought this piece of equipment to mount my Gen7 CAT tourniquet to my belt. As a security contractor we are generally left on our own when it comes to equipment selection, so for my own personal well-being I want the best equipment I can buy. The RE Factor Tactical Tourniquet Holder is a prime example of a solid choice in mounting options to keep critical life saving equipment at the ready and easy to access.
I like how the holder weaves through the molle unlike others I have used..
