SKD Enhanced Combat BDU Shirt, MultiCam® / Ripstop Version

(Photos courtesy of militarymorons.com)

The SKD Enhanced Combat Shirt BDU is the next evolution in our combat-proven MultiCam® series of BDUs. We are now offering three different models that vary in the pocket configurations. The Alpha model features four front pockets in the traditional BDU configuration. The Bravo model features two chest pockets that are turned inwards for easy access from the opposing hand. The Charlie model features two chest pockets that are turned outwards for easy access from the corresponding hand while wearing kit. The Bravo and Charlie models have had the two front lower pockets removed to allow for tucking of the shirt. All three models have velcro and button closure fly options. (The Velcro option minimizes pressure spots when wearing body armor, and the absence of a zipper means better ventilation when worn without armor).

Features (for all Alpha/Bravo/Charlie models):

  • Improved Mandarin Collar with Foldback Velcro (Allows for a neat appearance when the collar is turned down- no flopping collars!)
  • ID Velcro Panel on shoulder pockets (For unit ID patches)
  • Elbow Pad Pocket (Accessible from the outside, allows easy installation and removal while shirt is worn
  • 5.11 TDU Elbow Pads fit well (pads not included)
  • Velcro Wrist Stays (Replaces buttons)
  • Top entry chest pockets, with Velcro name-tape loop sewn on top
  • Slanted upper arm double pockets, with Velcro loop sewn on top
  • Pen pocket
  • Low profile mandarin collar with Velcro closure
  • MIL-PRF-MCCUU 50% Nylon 50% Cotton Nyco Ripstop (MultiCam)
  • US Made with genuine Crye Multicam® fabric and US Materials

    Bdu shirt

This shirt was an awesome deal and exactly as described. While nowhere as fun as a bag of dicks (especially used ones) I found it to be a great value and it should be useful during CW2 the electric boogaloo.

    No love for ape drape

Large tall... why can't I get a top that covers my arms and torso at the same time? I love this jacket. But, I'll end up using it for warmer weather because the sleeves ride high on my forearms while extended. They need another 1.5 inches length. Torso length feels great for my 33 inseam needs. Over all I like. Just can't use it under a gortex.

    Very nice product, some cons

Posted by JD Graybill on 22nd Nov 2016

So I purchased the pants and top. Both are extremely high quality Items! The only 2 downsides to the top is the sleeve velcro is to small for placing anything other then a unit badge. Cant really fit a Flag and badge on right arm and left arm bot enough space for Tabs and badges. Also there is not a velcro square for you rank insignia. But like I said awesome quality.

Breast pockets are not deep enough. VELCRO is way to noisy. Nice and light weight.

Very sturdily produced; good tailoring; solid color-dying.

    All around excellent.

I bought the Charlie model a few months ago and I have worn it a dozen times over with no issues at all. The material is great/durable and doesn't make noise with movement like some others. The velcro holds up well and there's no issues otherwise there. The pocket set-up allows quick and easy access to them even with my MARZ plate carrier and gear. I've recommended this to two other buds who also run mil-sim every weekend and they love it as well.

    Great Shirt

I bought the Charlie model and love the pocket configuration. I can get to the pockets with my vest over it. It is slightly oversized, which is good for cooler weather and layered clothing.

    good

Too much Velcro on the pockets and their hard to open medium regular is a little short on me and I'm sure medium long would be way to long. but it is solid and good looking.
