PIG BRIG CR, All-MOLLE [SYSTEMA]
NOTE ON SYSTEMA: All PIG items with "[SYSTEMA]" in the product title are related to the PIG Brig Plate Carrier and PIG Brig Chest Rig product family. Please refer to the product descriptions for how each respective SYSTEMA product relates to the product family.
The BRIG CR (Chest Rig) was conceived with the PIG BRIG Plate Carrier as an integrated means of carrying magazines and essential kit without adding needless bulk or tangling with straps. The primary means of marriage to the BRIG is via a velcro interface that securely holds the chest rig and its contents. The G-hook interface mates with the BRIG's button hole array to serve as a redundant fail-safe but does not carry load stress during normal use.
The BRIG CR All-MOLLE Features:
- 3 Rows and 6 Columns of MOLLE for use on different size PIG BRIGs.
- Converts to a stand-alone Chest Rig with the PIG Brig CR Harness (compatible with PIG H-Harness Kit).
- Flat map/utility pocket in stand-alone CR mode.
Unlike the BRIG CR 3 and 4 Mag models, the BRIG CR All-MOLLE acts as both a base for MOLLE Pouches and a Cummerbund flap, UNDER which the PIG BRIG cummerbund ends would secure. Because the BRIG CR All-MOLLE secures OVER the cummerbund, a larger All-MOLLE BRIG CR would be too big for most of the plate sizes that the BRIG comes in.
Whether mounted to the PIG BRIG Plate Carrier or used as a stand-alone Chest Rig, the BRIG CR will quickly become one of the most practical pieces of kit you use.

Very Well Made
Light and VERY well made. Wish there were more pouches available to attach.

It’s a good design but...
The front and rear bags are different sizes. The front bag is extremely loose and the rear bag is so tight I’m afraid it’s going to wear faster than it should. Both plates are exactly the same. SKD said that it’s normal, so we’ll wait and see. My only other complaint is that their CS can be extremely difficult to get a hold of. I had to send multiple emails to get an answer.

Molle attachment
I have this setup using double decker taco shells, pig pack and CR All MOLLE. runnin n gunnin at the range and just personal training. Nice to have this setup sitting beside the SKD go bag extended.

Flexible
This is a nice panel that provides a lot of flexibility to how something is attached to something else and where. I am glad I bought it. On another note: SKD customer service rocks!

Meh
The chestrig was out of stock in tan. So I only use it when switching to my 9mm mags using my PIG, because that's what I put on the panel. But it just looks odd and doesnt stay down under the cumberbund the way I'd like it. The little foldy thing to expose more velcro doesn't really stop this problems. So I'll cry and have the velcro absorb my tears until the chest rig in tan gets back into stock. Luv u 🐙 (just checking if emojis worked again)

New Go To Rig
Dude this thing is friggin awesome. It's simple, well constructed and provides just enough real estate to put up the s*&# you need and nothing you don't. Run it with with the add-on straps, and Esstac Triple mag pouch and a BFG Ten-Speed double mag pouch which proved enough for 3 rifle mags, two pistol mags and enough webbing left over for a TQ and Thrym Cell-Vault. Carries everything i need when I don't want a full PC set up but also fits over my Ferro Slickster well. Love it.

Good Start, Needs A Little Work
Got a couple of these for active shooter kits. Run them on pig brig's. Attached 3 Tactical Tailor fight light universal mag pouches to these. Run 4 mags between 2 pouches and a med kit in the third pouch. The size is great, just enough to carry what we need in addition to our duty belts. The major thing lacking is the velcro attachement. The hook on the back side of this is (2) 1 inch wide strips that run from the top to the bottom. This is not enough to secure the panel to the front of the Pig Brig. The entire back side of the panel needs to be covered in hook to give solid engagement to the plate carrier. Charge another $5 to cover the back of this thing in hook material and provide a cover for when it's used as a stand alone chest rig and it'll be great.

Great minimalist gear
I gave this Item 4 stars because it's a little on the small side and won't work for my application of running three HSGI rifle TACO's on it with 7.62 P Mags without overlapping or binding the edges of the TACO's, But if you plan to run 3 HSGI TACO's on it with 5.56 Mags, it works great. Overall a great piece of minimalist gear.

Not for me
When looking at pictures of the CR online I knew it was going to be small, but when i received it I didn't think it was going to be that small. It is very minimalist and comfortable, but just doesn't work for me. I am using it as a stand alone chest rig and found that when i pull mags out from the attached mag pouches that the entire CR kind of folds in the middle. It feels very flimsy. I've tried using different mag pouches in different configurations and tried attaching the straps at different points but still no luck. I feel like this piece would best be used on the pig brig PC. Still great pig quality though.
