SKD ARMOR is now offering Plate Backers in our Certified NIJ IIIA Armor package (NIJ 0101.06). Sized to fit exactly behind it's respective plate size, these first quality Made in USA backers are heat sealed in waterproof carriers. Designed for use as backers for In-Conjunction With (ICW) Plates.

    I have bought several of these in past few years. Great quality, covering is solid and holds up incredibly well, especially when banging against plates. They create some nice and much appreciated extra cushion from direct contact with LVL III/ LVL IV plates of all makes and models! Buy these, you wont regret it!!

    Bought these to pair with my issues ESAPI plates to go inside my jpc 2.0. Nice snug fit between the plate and soft armor. Hopefully won’t have to find out how well they function.

    For Use ICW Ceradyne Rifle Plates

    I purchased two of these to back up my issued Ceradyne ESAPI rifle plates in my personally-procured carrier (First Spear AAC). The medium backers fit snugly and securely behind my medium plates. The 3000D Twaron Microlam (while not the best option on the market) SHOULD hold up fine as part of an NIJ Lvl IV/RF3-rated armor system. Here's to hoping I don't put it to the test.

    I emailed customer service with questions and received a reply within 24 hours. Customer service was very knowledgeable and I placed my order soon after. Shipping was really fast. I inserts fit perfectly into my First Spear and Crye carriers. Thank so very much. Great store.
