Arisaka Defense 300 Series Light Body
The Arisaka 300 Series Light Body is designed as a streamlined replacement body for Surefire Scout Light® M300 weapon lights. The 300 Series Light Body is manufactured without the mounting interface for the stock Picatinny clamp. This greatly increases the clearance for front sights when used in combination with the Arisaka Inline Scout® Mount on handguards with 45 degree mounting surfaces adjacent to the top Picatinny rail.
The 300 Series Light Body is compatible with all E1® series and Scout Light® M300 series tailcaps and heads like the KM1A, KE1A, and KX1A. It will also fit in any aftermarket Scout® mount, as it retains the mounting holes and square lug interface on the underside of the light body.
It is also possible to build a complete light from scratch by sourcing additional components. A variety of tailcaps and aftermarket light heads are available from online retailers. Our favorite light head to pair with the 300 Series Light Body is the Malkoff E1/Scout, which offers higher lumen output and greater spill over the stock M300B, a smaller overall size, and is made in the USA.

The light body is CNC machined from 6061 aluminum and type III hard coat anodized. High quality Buna-N O-rings are included. Product does not include light head or tailcap.
Refinishing warning: If you Cerakote a 300 Series Light Body the threaded ends must be masked off. If you Cerakote over the ends the body will no longer be able to conduct electricity and the light will not turn on.

A little pricey, but man is that sucker slick. So low profile with an Arisaka inline mount, it's almost not there.

Guiding Light
The ÒArisaka Defense 300 series Light BodyÓ work great on it own. But lacks the ÒHot ShoeÓ attachment so it can be mounted. Hopefully after find the right size Hot Shoe itÕll itÕs job better...

Excellent product. very low profile body compared to OEM Surefire body. great construction and has mounting holes, too. highly recommended product for lower profile mounting purposes, while still retaining high-quality craftsmanship & engineering.
