ATS Low Profile Medical Insert

The Low Profile Medical Insert is designed to work specifically with our Low Profile Chest Harness, but it will work with almost any small pouch including our Small Utility Pouch. It is a simple clam shell design that will hold just enough medical kit to treat severe trauma wounds.

A red pull handle and securing strap help to designate the insert as carrying life saving supplies. As with all of our products the Low Profile Medical Insert is made in the USA of the highest quality mil-spec materials.

Dimensions: 7.25" x 3" x 2.5"

Great quality and design. Holds everything I need and then some. Fits well in my HSG M3T, which is what I bought it for.

may not fit in a tight double mag pouch if you put a lot of stuff in it. fits in my loose 308 double pouch with 2 halo seals, gloves, shears, 2 compression bandages. don't see much else fitting. I wish the retention was adjustable.

A little tight in a double ar mag pouch.

But still works great and holds enough stuff to make it worth while.

    Versatile, good size

Enables me to move my trauma kit between multiple locations, and hand it off to someone else if need be. Good size to hold supplies for extremity bleeds and punctured lungs. You'll need a reasonably sized pouch for this to fit into--a GP or 3 mag pouch; a 2 mag pouch will probably be too small.

I really like this medical insert. It's well made and very practical. Adds greater modularity to my med-kit options by allowing me to quickly get to my primary bleeder fixes when inserted into a larger med-pouch and also gives me a good option when a lower-profile med-kit is needed by being easily fit into a double AR mag-pouch.

Despite the changes I'd make, I give it five stars because it is exactly as presented and very well made

I am very happy with mine, but highly suggest buyers not plan to use a double mag pouch unless you're not putting much of anything in this. One small pressure bandage on one side and pretty much anything at all on the other side means you will need a triple pouch or similar to make it practical. I'm using DBT pouches but can't imagine there's THAT much a difference. Like another reviewer, I wish there was some more variety in the elastic, some snugger loops and maybe even having the middle loop setup for small diameter items would make this easier to use. Maybe just on one side to store those items then leave the other side as is. I like that I can easily move this from one pouch to another location without repacking or having things get lost.

    ATS Low profile G2G

Low profile and well made insert. My complaint is that the base could have been a 1/4" larger to allow better fit of Israeli and/or OALES bandages. Not a deal breaker for me but it's one of the reaosns why I didn't give it a 5/5. The other reason this didnt get a 5/5 is I would have like to see some tighter webbing akin to the BFG Trauma Now insert to better fit and secure angiocatheters, and nasopharangyl tubes, and other such items, sharpie, carpenter pencil, small trauma sheer. Currently this insert is sitting in my Tactical Tailor triple USGI magpouch and fits well. A devoted 2x magpouch may be a bit tight fit for your needs. Overall still a solid choice and no regrets in the purchase.

Works like you think it does

Super sturdy, there are 2 different styles of red pull tab so you can use whichever suits you, depending on its orientation in the pouch. A worthwhile extra and fits in the ATS Small Upright GP pouch just fine.
