ATS Medical Pouch- Small
The ATS Medical Pouch-Small is an advanced design that exceeds the current standard for individual first aid kits. When seconds count, standard trauma equipment can be difficult to access because most pouches stays attached to the vest or pack of the casualty. The most revolutionary feature of our Medical Pouch Small is that it can be instantly removed from its MOLLE compatible backing platform and then used independently as the situation dictates. This means that you don't have to roll the casualty around in the dirt or dump the contents of the pouch out to go to work on him. The difference could be life itself!
The pouch is arranged as a "clam-shell" zippered design with elastic webbing on the interior in order to organize the trauma supplies in a consistent fashion. There's also has an interior slot pocket for smaller items. The ATS Medical Pouch Small will fit everything in the issue IFAK and more.
The pouch features a red pull/carry handle to help designate the contents within as life saving equipment. The handle can be completely stowed between the pouch and the MOLLE backing panel when its not in use.
It's features are rounded out by a cord loop for tie-downs and a drainage grommet. It can be attached to any MOLLE compatible system using our patent-pending L-Strap attachment system. The pouch measures about 7 inches tall, 4½ inches wide and expands to about 5 inches deep, depending on how much is packed in it. It uses 3 channels and 6 rows of MOLLE space. The Medical Pouch Small weighs about 9 ounces empty, due to its 500 denier Cordura construction.

Out of the way, until you need it.
Trying to figure out how to most efficiently use your "real estate" is difficult. Especially when you don't think there is such a thing as "too much ammo". I wanted an IFAK that could be mounted out of the way, so I can carry more ammo where it's accessible, but one that I could get to when necessary. I put this pouch on my right hip behind my side arm. All I have to do is reach back, unsnap the buckle and rip it off. I think this will work . I would also like to mention that SKD is awesome. I always get the gear I order on time or before it is expected.

Perfect for any application
Pouch is small enough to be useable on a belt or chest rig, but will hold a ton of stuff too! Perfect size!

Great pouch with a minor flaw
Overall, I'm very impressed. Held everything with room to spare. Stitching is good and zippers are sturdy. The form factor is great (tear away capability). My one little complaint is that the male side of the Velcro is on the pouch, not the base. This causes 2 issues, first it is ripping up the red handle eevery time I remove the pouch, second if you put the pouch without carrier in a cargo pocket, it chews up the fabric. Had they just put the female Velcro on the pouch, this little guy would have been perfect. Overall, I would definitely recommend this pouch!

not as small as you think
Actually fit a fair amount of items in this pouch and it doesn't unzip so far that you can't easily see both sides of it.just make sure you put something semi hard and flat in the part that is velcro secured. But does it really need a red pull handle? No. It does not.
