ATS Medical Pouch- Small
The ATS Medical Pouch-Small is an advanced design that exceeds the current standard for individual first aid kits. When seconds count, standard trauma equipment can be difficult to access because most pouches stays attached to the vest or pack of the casualty. The most revolutionary feature of our Medical Pouch Small is that it can be instantly removed from its MOLLE compatible backing platform and then used independently as the situation dictates. This means that you don't have to roll the casualty around in the dirt or dump the contents of the pouch out to go to work on him. The difference could be life itself!
The pouch is arranged as a "clam-shell" zippered design with elastic webbing on the interior in order to organize the trauma supplies in a consistent fashion. There's also has an interior slot pocket for smaller items. The ATS Medical Pouch Small will fit everything in the issue IFAK and more.
The pouch features a red pull/carry handle to help designate the contents within as life saving equipment. The handle can be completely stowed between the pouch and the MOLLE backing panel when its not in use.
It's features are rounded out by a cord loop for tie-downs and a drainage grommet. It can be attached to any MOLLE compatible system using our patent-pending L-Strap attachment system. The pouch measures about 7 inches tall, 4½ inches wide and expands to about 5 inches deep, depending on how much is packed in it. It uses 3 channels and 6 rows of MOLLE space. The Medical Pouch Small weighs about 9 ounces empty, due to its 500 denier Cordura construction.
As with the rest of the ATS Tactical Gear line, the World's Greatest Medical Pouch is made entirely in the USA of the highest quality components and is backed by a lifetime guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship.

Great of IFAK's
I have this pouch mounted on my battle belt as a IFAK/Bleeder kit, it currently sits on the backside of the belt and is barely noticeable. This pouch is filled to capacity with everything I may need for small wounds to large wounds. The one thing that made me purchase this pouch was the way it could be easily removed and deployed. It takes me about 5 seconds to unbuckle, grab the red handle, and remove it. Having done this a couple of times to practice, all the stitching has held up and looks built to last. The added velcro on tops let me add a small medic pouch so it is easily identified as a first aid kit, if this was not included, it would look like any other pouch since the red pull handle is not easily visible sometimes. This might not be a good pouch for a full out trauma kit with a bunch of stuff, but for a good IFAK, this is perfect.

ATS Medical Pouch - Small Review
I mounted this pouch on the rear of my vest, weak side. I wanted to be able to reach back with my weak hand and get to my med supplies. I found it to be a little too fat to mount on the sides when fully loaded. When I mounted the pouch right side up, I had a hard time reaching back and unbuckling it to get the inner pouch free. I then mounted it upside down and it worked great. I found it very easy to unbuckle the base panel and pull the inner pouch off. I really like being able to detatch the pouch and have my supplies right in front of me. The pouch is harder to get back on one handed. I was able to pack it I with a 4" Israeli bandage, 2 compressed gauze packs, SWAT tourniquet, Quick Clot-combat gauze, triangular bandage, safety pins, Naso airway tube, chest decomp needle, 4 gloves, two chest seals, small tape roll and a casualty card. Seems durable and well built. I haven't really beat on it yet in the field, but I think it will suit my needs.

Search and Rescue
Purchased this pouch for use on a SAR tac vest. Right now I have it pretty well stuffed. In the pouch I have: SWAT-T Tourniquet, emergency bandage, ace bandage, small roll of duct tape, boo boo kit (band aids, mole skin etc) cotton balls, small tube of Vaseline, gaws, med tape, and some other small miscellaneous things. The strip away feature works great. It holds what I need it to and doesn't have any gimmicks to get in the way. My only complaint is that the retention straps aren't quite as useful as I would like. I made them work for me by rubber banding things in place as needed.

Rapid Access, First Aid Pouch
I mounted the small size ATS Medical Pouch on my VTAC LBE vest. I was able to load it with all the essentials needed to provide first aid for trauma. This pouch is much better than the issue IFAK. The elastic bands and pockets keep the contents organized and easy to see. The red handle makes it more noticeable as a first aid kit so others can rapidly locate it to provide aid. The top Velcro panel is also great for this purpose as you can add blood type and first aid cross patches as I did. Those with allergies can also affix allergy patches there. A huge advantage of this pouch is its tear-away feature. The whole pouch rapidly comes off the backing panel with a tug. This makes it much easier to get at all the contents and provide aid to a buddy or yourself.

Med Pouch Review
I purchased this pouch for my active shooter vest. I needed a durable compact kit that was quickly removable for self aid or buddy aid. The kit works great. It holds all the necessary items to stop traumatic bleeding and stays out of the way of all my other gear. I sewed extra red tape on the kit to identify it as holding life saving supplies just in case I am incapacitated. Form, function, and quality of this kit are top notch. Highly recommend to everyone. Shipping was crazy fast.

ATS Medical Pouch - What more do you need?
The ATS pouch holds the same contents as my issue IFAK in a smaller footprint. The heavy material allows me to 'stuff' the contents without the pouch losing its shape. The retention strap doubles as a compression strap, ensuring that the pouch does not flop around. I have the pouch mounted on the back of my Eagle PC, at the right edge of the plate(I am right handed). I mounted it so that the clip is on the bottom to make it easier to reach and easier to deal with under stress. I mount the detachable pouch with the red tab up to make it easier for me to 'tear out'. This has worked well through dry runs and training. Pros: The tear away design makes so much sense I can't imagine why you would want anything else. Takes up relatively little real estate on my PC. Has simple, but sufficient elastic inside for organization. Cons: I could list more positive comments, but I have found nothing negative to say about this set-up.

Superior to the Issue IFAK
I use this pouch in Afghanistan. I holds the entire contents of my IFAK, and the medics can easily identify it as a first aid pouch. Being able to rip the pouch off to get to your trauma supplies is very convenient, as it allows you to more easily access them, especially when conducting self-aid or aid under fire.

ATS Med Pouch Small
This is the best IFAK I have found to date. It is a good size and doesn't take up alot of space on your kit and the tear away feature is awesome! I also really like how the pouch doesn't extend to far above or below the waist line when being worn.
