B5 Systems Bravo Stock

by SoS
Simplicity, comfort, and lightweight. Once you have shot an M4 with the comfort of a triangular shaped stock, you find that the cheek weld cannot be beat. The angle quickly matches the contours of your face and makes for smooth, positive feeling cheek welds every time. I have used a lot of triangular stocks over the years but oddly enough my favorite stock to go with also happens to be one of the lightest and least expensive in the market. The rear butt on the B5 Bravo has a rubber coating that prevents slipping at nice pitch (instead of on a 90 degree angle). This pitch not only helps when you add body armor into the mix but also fits nicely into your shoulder pocket when used without armor. While most triangular stocks try to fit battery compartments into the flares, adding even more weight to your rifle, the Bravo stock is simple and solid. It is the perfect meeting of function and simplicity.

The minimalist's pick for peak performance

Streamlined for users who want optimal performance without unnecessary bells and whistles, the Bravo SOPMOD stock is the lightest, most effective design of its kind. The minimalist engineering and angled butt stock ensure quick and consistent placement. When you throw a gun to your shoulder, you want to reach that proper position the first time, every time.

  • Ergonomic cheek weld
  • Color-matched steel hardware
  • Overmolded steel anti-rotational QD sling mounts
  • Fixed sling mounts
  • No slip cushioned butt pad
  • Suregrip stock latch

Pull the adjustment lever down and away from the stock body. While holding the adjustment lever away from the stock body, slide the stock onto the receiver extension. Once the stock is on the receiver extension, then release the adjustment lever to allow the stock to fully engage with the receiver extension.

    Fantastic Stock, Great Company!

I can't recommend the bravo stock enough. Perfect size with a great cheek weld. It locks up tight, but still freely moves. Best addition to my rifle yet. And props to SKD for the awesome price and fast shipping. They've won me over as a customer.

    Great stock

    Posted by J on 29th Mar 2014

Its a great stock and if your looking to replace a Magpul MOE or CTR stock its a good option. Just know the FDE is noticeably lighter than Magpuls FDE. Its exactly like BCM gunfighter grips FDE. But i dont care. Also, my other gripe is the way they mounted the butt stock's rubber pad to the stock itself. It's not as solid as Magpul stocks. The prongs that attach the pad to the stock is a little to vulnerable to the elements and abuse that it may snap off or break. Haven't heard any troubles from anyone else but it still a concern in my opinion. Still too soon to see how it handles in training. Ill try this out for awhile and maybe upgrade to a magpul STR.

    B5 Bravo Stock

Posted by michael on 12th Feb 2014

This is the fourth AR stock I've purchesed and In my opinion, it's quite possibly the best stock for the sub $60 price point. Compared to its competitors (both price and features) the B5 offers the best of both worlds with its attainable price and thoughtful features. The stock is very comfortable with it's cheek rests, QD sling mounts, and slightly angled butt pad and fit very well on my mil spec buffer tube. I haven't abused it yet but it's survived vehicle transportation and a basic course of fire with 0 problems. All in all, I would recommend this stock to anyone that wants a feature packed yet affordable stock for their weapon systems.

    Perfect stock

I have tried pretty much every stock out there and have come to favor this one the most. It is very streamlined, compact, comfortable, non-snagging, has the correct amount of cheek weld, and w/ the grippy pad angles perfectly for shooting with armor or other kit. Also the QD socket is not a free spin (has multiple around the clock positions) and does not need to be moved in order to be ambidextrously used.
