    Shave some weight.

Posted by JASON T. on 24th Jun 2011

In my ongoing quest to shave any unecessary weight I picked these up to try. Definately lighter than anything else I have used and they have a much thinner profile. Pulling mags from them is easy and smooth. Re-inserting mags takes some practice and some wearing in of the elastic. A few months into using them and they have been durable and still grip the mags tight. Only serious wearing/fading is near the edge of the mags. Easy and quick to adjust, move, and remove from molle, yet still hold everything on tight.

    Mission specific

This is an outstanding item for specific missions/ purposes that are obvious. My only complaint is that the mc pattern started to fade very quickly where the magazine wore on the edges. I also do not recommend leaving magazines in this outside of wearing your kit for the mission as they can stretch a little and not lay very flat.

    Lightweight and Strong

For elastic this stuff will surpise you how tough it is. It doen't feel like regular elastic and fits AR and Mini 14 mags. It will not work with AK mags. The locking tab on the back will shred the material over a short period of time.

    BFG Ten Speed Pouches

    Posted by Op4guy on 15th Jul 2010

The BFG Ten Speed mag pouches offer a new and unique way to store your ammo over bulky traditional pouches. Made with elastic webbing, they lay flat when not in use (under 1/2") profile keeps them extremely low which can be ideal on body armor so you don't elevate your body up when prone or even on belt systems. The elastic holds magazines (or whatever) very secure. Running P-Mags in mine I never felt like I was going to lose them while running, rolling or banging around. I also like the way you can stagger the height of the magazines to make them a little easier to grab and pull without running your hands into all the mags. The only concerns someone might have with them is elastic fatigue over time and trying to re-insert the magazines under a tactical reload. It can be done, just a little tricky. The Blue Force Gear Ten-Speed pouches are hard to beat: great value, quality, functionality and backed by a lifetime guarantee.

    Very low profile pouches

Posted by Aym on 25th Jun 2010

The Ten-Speed Double Mag Pouch is a pair of very low profile pouches, basically completely totally flat when unused, which will fit tightly to a mag once inserted. The stretch strap will hold the mag really tightly, making the insertion a little tough, but pulling fairly easy and silent. The hold is tight enough to have the pouches mounted upside down without any fear of losing the mag. It's tight! I use those on my PC, just above my Esstac pouches, so that once I used the first row of mags, the pouch flattens completely, given me unrestricted access to the pouches below, quite useful in this way. Only concern is how long will the printed MC graphic and strap itself hold the time and many insertion/pull of mags. Some of the print already starts to wear off with very little use. Recommended as an excellent low profile pouch, but not a primary one (reviewed for Airsoft since non military).

    Good magazine pouches so far...

Posted by Unknown on 21st Jun 2010

I am replacing some non-elastic pouches with these. I have noted 3 things about them that are full of win: 1. This thing is light. The 2 mag pouch weighs a little less than the 1 mage pouch I had. 2. Retention is similar to Eagle FB's if not a little stronger. 3. Drawing the magazine has a great feel. Things I don't like - there is not and cannot be any molle on the front. I had my Ka-bar on some molle on the last ones and am kinda at a loss as to where to put it.
