Blue Force Gear Ten-Speed Double Pistol Mag Pouch w/Helium Whisper Attachment System
BLUE FORCE GEARBlue Force Gear Ten-Speed Double Pistol Mag Pouch with Helium Whisper Attachment System
The Ten-Speed Mag Pouch works from the premise that a magazine pouch should have excellent, consistent retention without a lot of securing straps, lids, or flaps to get in the way of a smooth, consistent reload. When not in use, the pouch is designed to lay flat against your vest or carrier so that it is completely discrete and unobtrusive. Primarily intended for personnel performing fast, short duration operations where speed and a low profile are paramount.
Due to the use of high performance materials, the Ten Speed Pouch is also extremely lightweight. Not limited to magazines, it will also securely hold some types of Flash Bangs, Strobes, Lights, etc. Attaching to any MOLLE/PALS surface, its use is only limited by your imagination. The Blue Force Gear Ten Speed Pouch is made out of military-grade heavy duty elastic and Cordura fabric/webbing right here in Georgia. (Magazines not included)
Holds almost any single or double stack pistol mags, small 6P sized flashlights, multi-tools, etc. . This item is fully compatible with and attaches to all MOLLE platforms.

Good mag pouch with lots of versatility
Bought these to ride on my low-profile chest rig as a, you guessed it, low-profile mag pouch. These excel in retention, and the elastic has kept its elasticity quite well. I will agree with the other reviewer who said they weren't the best for Glock mags, and I have experienced the same issues. But I think there affordability and versatility far out-weigh the pitfalls.

Not my first choice for Glock mags
I love Blueforce products, but for my application this pouch isn't the best option. I intended to use the pouch to carry extra Glock 9mm mags. They just don't come out of the pouch as easily as I'd like. The Glock mags really stretch the elastic because of their large diameter and the elastic tends to snag on the mag release cutout when trying to remove magazines from the pouch quickly. I ended up using the pouch to hold a surefire and multitool in my Eagle E&E bag. The pouch is really great for that purpose. I understand it is tough to design a pouch for all pistols, from single stack 45 mags to large double stack, but I had to gave it three stars because I feel there are much better options for holding Glock mags. As a utility pouch, I'd probably give it 4 stars.
