Blue Force Gear Ten-Speed Triple M4 Mag Pouch with Helium Whisper Backing
BLUE FORCE GEARBlue Force Gear Ten-Speed Triple M4 Mag Pouch with Helium Whisper Backing
Introducing Blue Force Gear's Project Helium Whisper. This patent pending load carriage system offers the lightest configuration in existence. Blue Force Gear has been continuously shaving ounces off legacy items and has come up with what they believe to be the lightest load carriage possible. The secret to Blue Force Gear's patent pending technology is their one-piece back panels. The material used to form their new MOLLE attachment system is a highly durable laminate that has been cut to exacting tolerances. CAD programming and CNC laser cutting ensures tolerances to within a thousandth of an inch.
- Increased flexibility allows use of undersized/mis-sewn MOLLE channels.
- Integral horizontal and vertical straps improve strength, reduce assembly steps and eliminate strap alignment.
- Extremely lightweight but highly durable material.
- Laser marking are applied on backing during the cutting process eliminating the need for separate labels.
- Patent pending single piece backing.
The Ten-Speed Mag Pouch works from the premise that a magazine pouch should have excellent, consistent retention without a lot of securing straps, lids, or flaps to get in the way of a smooth, consistent reload. When not in use, the pouch is designed to lay flat against your vest or carrier so that it is completely discrete and unobtrusive. Primarily intended for personnel performing fast, short duration operations where speed and a low profile are paramount.
Due to the use of high performance materials, the Ten Speed Pouch is also extremely lightweight registering less than 1.5 ounces on the scale. Not limited to magazines, it will also securely hold some types of Flash Bangs, Strobes, Lights, etc. Attaching to any MOLLE/PALS surface, its use is only limited by your imagination.
The Blue Force Gear Ten Speed Pouch is made out of military-grade heavy duty elastic and Cordura fabric/webbing right here in Georgia. (Magazines not included)

It works
Only complaint is, the mags arent easy to insert. They arent easy to remove but i guess thats a good thing. Dont want the mags falling out but maybe the pouches need a lil stretching or breaking in. I just use it to carry spare mags on long hunts or coyote hunts.

Use em all the time.
They are great! Light and durable, the pattern don't last that well, but I don't care.

Yup
Just what I have been looking for. I carry 4 mags +1 in the gun. Thos plus 1 ITW fastmag. These things rock. Hard to insert mags, but come out with just the right amount of friction when removed. The ITW is for speed reloads, these are for tactical reloads or speed reloading with cover (hopefully). They lay perfectly flat when a mag is removed, and who cares how fast a mag inserts into them. That shit goes in my dump pouch in a fight once expended. Construction is solid, but only time will tell how long the elastic for the fron panel of the mag pouches lasts. At $30 if it lasts 6months at expected retention levels I will be happy. I am fine if gear designed for a specific role wears out when its at this price point. They rock, buy them now

Nice but tight at first
Tight at first, you'll need to leave pmags in these for a weeks on end before it's not ridiculously tight. Nice construction though.

Ten Speed
Found the magazines were in general hard to get in & out. But! I could be manipulating the mags wrong in the pouch.
-
Small triple mag pouch
This is realy a small pouch, and the mags fits in perfect.
-
Great product
Nice and low profile. Pmags sit VERY snug in the pockets.

Quick and accessible
I run my standard metal AK mags in this and have no issues with draw and restore of the mag as indicated by some. I do run magpuls and I suggest them for this as well. High retention is nothing with his.

Surprisingly great as usual.
I'm still wary of the fancy PALS attachment system, but BFG has yet to let me down. I REALLY like the new non-slip backing inside the pouches. No fear of losing mags now.
