Blue Force Gear Ten-Speed Triple M4 Mag Pouch with Helium Whisper Backing

Introducing Blue Force Gear's Project Helium Whisper. This patent pending load carriage system offers the lightest configuration in existence. Blue Force Gear has been continuously shaving ounces off legacy items and has come up with what they believe to be the lightest load carriage possible. The secret to Blue Force Gear's patent pending technology is their one-piece back panels. The material used to form their new MOLLE attachment system is a highly durable laminate that has been cut to exacting tolerances. CAD programming and CNC laser cutting ensures tolerances to within a thousandth of an inch.

  • Increased flexibility allows use of undersized/mis-sewn MOLLE channels.
  • Integral horizontal and vertical straps improve strength, reduce assembly steps and eliminate strap alignment.
  • Extremely lightweight but highly durable material.
  • Laser marking are applied on backing during the cutting process eliminating the need for separate labels.
  • Patent pending single piece backing.

The Ten-Speed Mag Pouch works from the premise that a magazine pouch should have excellent, consistent retention without a lot of securing straps, lids, or flaps to get in the way of a smooth, consistent reload. When not in use, the pouch is designed to lay flat against your vest or carrier so that it is completely discrete and unobtrusive. Primarily intended for personnel performing fast, short duration operations where speed and a low profile are paramount.

Due to the use of high performance materials, the Ten Speed Pouch is also extremely lightweight registering less than 1.5 ounces on the scale. Not limited to magazines, it will also securely hold some types of Flash Bangs, Strobes, Lights, etc. Attaching to any MOLLE/PALS surface, its use is only limited by your imagination.

The Blue Force Gear Ten Speed Pouch is made out of military-grade heavy duty elastic and Cordura fabric/webbing right here in Georgia. (Magazines not included)

    new favorite mag pouch

I love this pouch. It will hold AR and mini 14 mags very well but not AK mags. They are too big and the rear locking tab will shred the material.

    Outstanding.

The Blue Force Gear Ten-Speed Triple Mag Pouch served me exceptionally overseas in both Iraq and Afghanistan. I wore two of these pouches on the front of my plate carrier for many months and I can honestly say that at no time was I displeased with my choice of kit. Not only can these pouches carry magazines, but also smoke grenades or flashbangs (sorry, I can't trust it with frags), GPS devices, documents, and any other small item with great success. The magazines stay retained, even when I would run and tumble over debris or bound in contact. I never had to worry about my magazines being there when I needed them. Mag changes are very fast. The ONLY drawback, however, is that it should be utilized with a dump pouch. Stowing a magazine in these pouches one-handed while moving or maintaining security is impossible. I guess you can't be 'perfect', but you can be close - which is what BFG has done with this series of products. Bravo, BFG. Bravo.

I ordered this in multicam and have to say I am impressed! It offers a great compromise between retention and quick reloads all at an affordable price!

    Great for Low-Pro Work

BFG makes great stuff. This is my favorite M4 mag pouch for Low-Pro work. It lies very flat and cinches up tight to a molle belt....very low signature visually.

    Ten-Speed Triple Mag Pouch review

Just received the pouch the other day and attached it to my entry rig. Ultra low profile. Mags fit securely. Have yet to use it on a live entry but I am sure it will perform. Attaches easily. Securely fits to my vest. Thumbs up!

    BFG Ten-Speed x3 mag

Pro's: While standing, crouching etc... It holds mags securely and allows the user to simply pull them out of the pouch without worrying about velcro, buckles or straps. Cons: I would stay away from this pouch for non-urban .mil work. I noticed my mags started to work their way out of the pouch after doing some proning on weird terrain. YMMV

    10-Speed triple mag pouch

Posted by Justin Kershner on 4th May 2012

If you want a solid no frills mag carrier, the 10 speed line is darn near perfect. No bungees or straps to get in the way or fumble with, and they offer amazing retention. Just one caveat. Throw out any hopes of putting mags back in one handed. Not going to happen, but that's why they make dump pouches.(May be easier with USGI mags.) Can't comment on long term durability, but from initial inspection, they look like they will do what I need, for as long as I need em. The retention really is amazing. Held my vest upside down with 6 loaded mags and not one budged. No chance in these popping out while moving. Drawing from the pouch is smooth and easy enough. I notice Lancer mags are a wee bit bigger and they tend to have a bit more drag, but still no problem. Get it, try it, love it. Looking forward to more in the 10-speed line.

    Ten Speed Pouch

Posted by Rocco Volpe on 4th May 2012

I am a big fan of these pouches. They make a very effective quick-retrieval pouch, I have actually replaced my fast-mags with these for speed reloads because of how they flatten when empty which is invaluable in the way I use it. To compare the two, the fast-mag has better retention when upside-down, which except for a very small margin of operations would not matter. these on the other hand not only provide a similar level of retention, but also a smoother draw as well as less weight and a slimmer profile.
