Blue Force Gear Ten-Speed Ultralight Dump Pouch with Helium Whisper Backing

by Sean
So tiny you will forget it is there until you need it. I keep a larger dump pouch on my belt for mags, raiding an Air Force Chow hall, small Items I may need for my mission, etc. I also keep this little pouch near it. The BFG Ultralight Dump Pouch is the perfect pouch for "Crap, How am I going to carry all this $h1t?" moments! It takes up just two MOLLE strips, is super thin, and adds a rapidly deployable option (dump pouch) for extra stuff you didn't expect to find. There is no reason to not add this pouch to your kit and forget about it. Its small size to usefulness ratio is through the roof. Say you raid some guys house in Abbottabad, and there is just a wealth of intel, hard drives, and other useful stuff. How are you going to carry it all? Oh yeah, Sean at SKD told me to buy this pouch and forget about it. Cha-ching - deploy this pouch and easily, hands free no less, collect all the Al Qaeda porn for the intel guys and still be able to pose for that selfie. Mission Accomplished.

Tired of carrying the over-sized, overweight dump pouches of the past? BFG's Ten-Speed Ultralight Dump Pouch redefines dump pouches with a super small MOLLE footprint for a Don't notice it until you need it form factor.

You only need a 2x2 MOLLE field for mounting or it can be wrapped over a riggers belt. When not in use, the bag portion of the pouch folds and stuffs up into the elastic eliminating the snagging and flopping of an empty pouch. Pull the exposed release tab to deploy the stowed pouch instantly to hold empty mags or prisoner search items. The open top can be easily cinched with one hand to secure the contents.

Functions great as a traditional magazine dump pouch but also works as the perfect temporary supplemental pouch. We hear that Users are carrying other items in our pouch such as breaching charges, provisions, SSE items, trash, spent casings, extra infiltration water bottles, foraged food or kindling, stuff-able jackets and many other items.

    Pretty good

If I'm honest I'm a little disappointed in this purchase. I really like how little space it uses when its in "storage mode" and its very easy to deploy and works just fine once it is. I just can't help but feel that I paid too much for it and that there has got to be something better out there. It also wouldn't hurt to somehow make it so the mouth of the dump pouch was rigid so it could be easier and faster to dump a mag in it rather than having to slip it in if you can understand what I mean. It'll work just fine for now but I know that of everything currently on my loadout this will more than likely be the first thing and possibly the only thing I'll have to keep an eye out for something better.

    Air Weight pouch

Love it. The helium attachment is simple and quick and the entire pouch weighs practically nothing. It flattens and is compact when stored and I love the quick release handle to open the pouch. The nylon pouch is thin but looks durable enough.

    Perfect dump pouch

An awesome piece of kit to add to your 1st line system. Small, compact, well designed, and rugged. BFG is changing the game with their new materials and designs. It fills the role of a used mag dump pouch, SS exploration and collection pouch, and subject/detainee personal effect pouch to name a few... can't go wrong with this one.

    Perfect when you need it

This is a very low-profile pouch that takes up very little real estate but when you need a pouch, this deploys fast. Used it as a dump pouch and it can be tough to find for rapid use, because it's so light it moves around a lot. For SSE or similar, would be better if you have more time.

    Good piece of gear

Very small, lightweight and really out of the way. Packs up very nice. I haven't fully tested the load out on it yet, but the material seems it would rip very easily

    sometimes small is good

While I have only had it a short period of time, I love it so far. Small, light, but still holds a lot. My only worry is durability. Time will tell.

Not all dump pouches are created equal

Posted by Gregory Kalla on 13th Jan 2013

Used this during a two day rifle/ handgun team tactics refresher. At first inspection the pouch is very compact and fits nicely into a busy tac vest array. If you pick a strategic spot to put the pouch, when the time comes to use it, you simply yank the deployment strap and out pops a very well made, lightweight piece of kit. Initially it seems like it is too light weight to be useful; that said, after multiple times through our course of fire I had as many as 10 empty magazines in the pouch and it performed very well. 5 stars cause it is a great idea and not bulky. Some may not like the open top vs. an elastic slit, but I have used both and the quick draw closure works fine. Like all gear it has to be tested by you and worked into your efficiency model, but I'm getting another one for my other vest loadout.
