Blue Force Gear VCAS Sling (OA Model)

The Vickers Combat Application Sling has revolutionized the way we carry automatic rifles. Developed with former 1st SFOD- Delta operational member and firearms expert Larry Vickers, the Vickers Combat Application Sling incorporates key features from real world experience that makes it so unique, effetive, and the choice sling requested by name. The Vickers Combat Applications Sling has been BFG's most popular product of all- with service in every branch of service here at home as well as several foreign militaries.

The Vickers Combat Application Sling features the patent pending Quick Adjuster. Able to quickly transition from carrying a slung rifle comfortably to combat ready, the Quick Adjust has bridged the gap between the two primary uses of weapon slings  from transporting to fighting. All VCAS Slings are built with precision and pride right here at home in the US with superior materials:

  • TEX 90 bonded nylon thread  never had a sling returned for stitching failure
  • Invista Solution Dyed Cordura® webbing  low IR, soft enough for comfort, stiff enough to prevent rolling and hardening.
  • ITW Acetal Hardware  Ghillie-Tex low IR military grade plastic reduces noise and weight ( In Original Acetal "OA" Models)
  • Different colored adjustment pull tab stands out enough for quick adjustment but still blends in

To keep costs down and allow further customization, no attachment hardware is included but can still be threaded through existing slings loops. This sling combined with any variation of different attachment from our Sling Hardware section attaches to almost any weapon.

The OA model has all Acetal hardware - a low IR, quieter military grade plastic. The OM model has all metal hardware for extreme durability and heat resistance.

Great sling, now featuring less features.

I have run these in many classes and matches, I have them on all of my rifles. If you are looking for a 2 point sling, it would be hard to do better than this one. My only gripe is this last one I bought didn't come with the plastic disconnect clip that the previous one did, but it cost the same.

Excellent product. This is my second one and while they are a little expensive they are well worth it.

One of the best slings going

What can you say about them that hasn't already...these are great slings. They allow for quick adjustment for side transitions, are tough as nails and really affordable.

    Brilliantly Simple

    Posted by M on 10th Feb 2013

This has to be the best two point sling system on the market. It is comfortable, easy to adjust, and it is the epitome of "keep it simple, stupid". I have these slings on all of my long guns.

This is hands down the simplest most durable sling I've used. SKDs shipping was fast and on time.

Nice Sling, Logo/Label Colors too Vivid

Posted by Ben on 2nd Dec 2012

I have been using the 5.11 VTAC sling, and just ordered this new VCAS. Main reason is that the adjustment on the 5.11 VTAC leaves a "tail" flapping around. It can also be hard to grab the release with the little pull cord. My old VTAC seemed more complicated and this new VCAS seems simpler and therefor faster/easier. I like this VCAS sling because it fixes those complaints I had with the VTAC. No tail flapping around, easier to grab slide release. Overall I really like it. The only complaint I had is that even on the multicam edition they use very bright vivid colors on the logo patch and US flag. I'd prefer a "subdued" color logo/flag on the multicam sling (use the multicam colors for the logo/flag). The logo on the sling is the brightest thing on my kit as a result I may have to "deface" it a bit.
