EOTech XPS3-0 Holographic Sight
The HWS XPS3™ is the shortest and lightest night-vision compatible HWS yet. Powered by a single transverse mounted CR123 lithium battery, the XPS provides additional rail space, leaving more room for rear iron sights, magnifiers or night-vision mount.
- Single transverse 123 battery to reduce sight length
- Shortened base only requires at most 2.75" of rail space compared to the 4" N battery sights
- Battery cap and latch are eliminated and replaced with a simple O-ring, tethered cap; better sealing is achieved

Great optic
I have over 500 rounds through my rifle with this optic it is in my opinion the best optic for the ar15 platform available today. yeah battery life could be better but for what it looses in battery life it makes up for by the retecle and price point compared to aimpoints. all in all its my first chose in non magnified optics.

EOTech Has Hit the Mark
I love my EOTech XPS3-0. Here's my pros & cons: Pros: -Superior reticle to Aimpoint (quicker with 65MOA ring and more accurate with 1MOA dot compared to 2/4MOA) - disputably the best optic for CQB -Best red dot for magnifier (Aimpoint becomes blurry while Eotech sharpens) -Battery compartment is rotated to eliminate battery contact damage -Battery life has been dramatically increased Cons: -Weight could be better (Aimpoint T1 is about half the weight) -Battery life is still bested by Aimpoint Even with the slight shortcomings compared to Aimpoint, I shoot better and faster with EOTech. That's what matters most to me.
