Esstac Shotgun Card
There is hook velcro sewn on the back of the shotgun cards. Made for 12gauge shotgun shells only. The "Add Sticky Back Loop Velcro for $1.50" option is a strip of industrial strength loop velcro with industrial strength adhesive. Choose this option if you would like to attach the shotgun card to your shotguns receiver. Please let the velcro adhere for 24 hours to let the adhesive take a set.

Esstac Shotgun card - Simple and fast. My jedi master showed me the true benefit of this simple shotgun reload. Slap some loop on your shotgun's left side. Load a few shotgun cards, and place one on the gun. You can fit the spares (back to back if it's a bigger pouch) in a single mag pouch. As you reload the shotgun, tear off the empty shotgun card, pull out a new one and slap it on. You're ready to slay even more zombies. 7 rounds of 12 gauge ammunition can be carried on the Esstac Shotgun Card, which is backed with hook. Put two of these back to back, and you have a 14-round bundle that fills up a double M4 magazine pouch. Line the side of your receiver with loop, and you have an ammo "side-saddle" system that you can replace in an instant- perfect for Law Enforcement use, whether it is for breaching or less-lethal rounds. Note from Stu @ Esstac about the elastic loop longevity:
"Shotty cards, treat them like a magazine. They will wear more quickly with use rather then just sitting loaded, they will lose some tension over time but that is normal for elastic, I have a couple ammo cans full of loaded shotgun cards and they are still GTG several years later."

Excellent
This is a wonderful design once you wear it in enough to not require the strength of 10 men to pull a shell out. The intention they went with in terms of fitting them into standard AR mag pouches makes life super easy for the rig I'm currently working with. I'm abusing one of them and thus far the material has held together quite well.

Incredible "Bang" for the buck.
These two 7 rounders were the...(lemme think)....7th, and 8th Estac shot cards I've purchased from SKD. I LOVE these things. The are on ALL my shotguns, both 20 and 12 gauge, and I use them on my web gear too. The velcro is aggressive, and the elastic is (so far). very resilient. Dealing with SKD has been a pleasure too. they earned the 5 star review.

I couldn't be more pleased with the Esstac Shotgun cards, never will I go back to the "Side-Saddle" ammo holders again, I wish I would have had these cards years ago. DLS

Tight at first
The Esstac sidesaddle comes without any Velcro to stick onto so you will have to purchase some industrial strength Velcro. I got some at Home Depot for 3$ and it fits the width of the sidesaddle perfectly. The shells are hard to get in at first but if you wear it in the shells fit nicely
