Esstac Shotgun Card

There is hook velcro sewn on the back of the shotgun cards. Made for 12gauge shotgun shells only. The "Add Sticky Back Loop Velcro for $1.50" option is a strip of industrial strength loop velcro with industrial strength adhesive. Choose this option if you would like to attach the shotgun card to your shotguns receiver. Please let the velcro adhere for 24 hours to let the adhesive take a set.

Esstac Shotgun card - Simple and fast. My jedi master showed me the true benefit of this simple shotgun reload. Slap some loop on your shotgun's left side. Load a few shotgun cards, and place one on the gun. You can fit the spares (back to back if it's a bigger pouch) in a single mag pouch. As you reload the shotgun, tear off the empty shotgun card, pull out a new one and slap it on. You're ready to slay even more zombies. Super easy, cheap when compared to other side saddles, and very, very fast. View More SKD Staff Picks

7 rounds of 12 gauge ammunition can be carried on the Esstac Shotgun Card, which is backed with hook. Put two of these back to back, and you have a 14-round bundle that fills up a double M4 magazine pouch. Line the side of your receiver with loop, and you have an ammo "side-saddle" system that you can replace in an instant- perfect for Law Enforcement use, whether it is for breaching or less-lethal rounds. The versatility of these Shotgun Cards will prove themselves many times over the more you use them!

Note from Stu @ Esstac about the elastic loop longevity:
"Shotty cards, treat them like a magazine. They will wear more quickly with use rather then just sitting loaded, they will lose some tension over time but that is normal for elastic, I have a couple ammo cans full of loaded shotgun cards and they are still GTG several years later."

Black, Coyote Brown, and RangerGreen is Mil Spec Elastic.

Muliticam color is printed Mil Spec Elastic.

BETTER THAN THOSE FRIGGIN TAC-STAR SIDE SADDLES!!

Posted by Holeshot 308 on 22nd Sep 2017

Bought 4 of the 7 round cards for 12 ga. the shells were so hard to put in at first. Thought they were for a 20 ga.! There's a trick to putting the 12 ga. shells in... kind of have to hook them under the elastic then push down on the back of the shell then slide them in. TIGHT IS ALWAYS GOOD!!! Just wondering what ya'll are doing with the other side of the velcro??? 2"X4" H.D. Velcro on E-Bay for 2 sets, 6.95 with free S/H solves the "other side" problem!!!

If you have tactical shotguns these are a must. Slap some 2" wide velcro onto your stock and good to go. I have 2 on my mossberg 590-A1 and keep several ready.

    Best option out there

Posted by Lucas on 7th Sep 2017

Didn't want to mount another saddle on my shotgun, so I gave a couple of these a try. Perfect length for stoeger m3000 receiver, it does not hang off. Inside the elastic loops is a very grippy rubber-ish strip that helps hold the shells securely enough that you can shake the gun with the shells inserted inverted and they will absolutely not fall out, but not so securely that it is too difficult to pull the shells back out when you need them. Very much worth the price. These things feel like they are made to last. I am ordering several more to replace my rigid shell holder on my other shotgun as well.

    7 RD Esstac Shot-card

Posted by Bootleg on 29th Aug 2017

Easy to install and use; makes quick reloading into the magazine tube much more fluid and easier than my hardshell side saddle. Really like that handy nylon loop to yank off the empty for a fresh card. Am planning to order some more, but only this time I will order the 6 Rd cards - the 7 Rds are long enough where racking hard during my drills causes my palm heel to ram right into the hard lower corner of the shot card that has been hardened by the hot blade used to cut the webbing. Learned the hard way how painful it is and throws my focus right off from my target to my injured wrist/palm heel. The 6 Rd card should eliminate that. I already tried to position the card more toward the back more but I still touch and it makes me really self-conscious of getting stabbed by that hard corner. But overall, this is a really super side saddle option. Mucho thanks SKD !!! -B

    A must have!

I bought these as a replacement to my hard side saddle and could not be more satisfied with the switch. I bought a couple of them in different round counts so that I can use some for training and other for different round types if needed. Glad I made the switch and I'd do it again!
