Esstac Shotgun Card

There is hook velcro sewn on the back of the shotgun cards. Made for 12gauge shotgun shells only. The "Add Sticky Back Loop Velcro for $1.50" option is a strip of industrial strength loop velcro with industrial strength adhesive. Choose this option if you would like to attach the shotgun card to your shotguns receiver. Please let the velcro adhere for 24 hours to let the adhesive take a set.

Esstac Shotgun card - Simple and fast. My jedi master showed me the true benefit of this simple shotgun reload. Slap some loop on your shotgun's left side. Load a few shotgun cards, and place one on the gun. You can fit the spares (back to back if it's a bigger pouch) in a single mag pouch. As you reload the shotgun, tear off the empty shotgun card, pull out a new one and slap it on. You're ready to slay even more zombies. Super easy, cheap when compared to other side saddles, and very, very fast. View More SKD Staff Picks

7 rounds of 12 gauge ammunition can be carried on the Esstac Shotgun Card, which is backed with hook. Put two of these back to back, and you have a 14-round bundle that fills up a double M4 magazine pouch. Line the side of your receiver with loop, and you have an ammo "side-saddle" system that you can replace in an instant- perfect for Law Enforcement use, whether it is for breaching or less-lethal rounds. The versatility of these Shotgun Cards will prove themselves many times over the more you use them!

Note from Stu @ Esstac about the elastic loop longevity:
"Shotty cards, treat them like a magazine. They will wear more quickly with use rather then just sitting loaded, they will lose some tension over time but that is normal for elastic, I have a couple ammo cans full of loaded shotgun cards and they are still GTG several years later."

Black, Coyote Brown, and RangerGreen is Mil Spec Elastic.

Muliticam color is printed Mil Spec Elastic.

    Worth it, bought two

Wish they had black but I can understand why they were sold out, these cards are sturdy, hold the shells well without fraying. These cards are high quality and definitely worth the money.

    Execellent product

Ordered two for my Mossberg 590A1. Received them in just a few days. Very good design and quality. One of the best sidesaddles for shotguns. Highly recommended!

    Overall solid piece of kit

This is a well made Shotgun card and it works properly. My only complaint, albeit a minor one, is that I wish the cards were a bit stiffer. Mine tended to bow when fully loaded. This isn't an issue when attached to velcro but if carried in a mag pouch this could be troublesome. However, in closing let me say this, there is 1 attached to my Home Defense 12g and I like it enough to put it on my HD gun.

    Well Made

Posted by PJ on 25th Feb 2017

Side saddle appears very well made, with reinforced stitching between around framework. Can't speak to its durability since it hasn't been put through its paces yet on how temperature or weather changes will effect it. Was surprised and disappointed that it did not come with the adhesive Velcro backing to attach sidesaddle to receiver. Intentional or quality oversight unknown. Either way not impressed.

Top notch product. Big fan of the paracord loops for removing them from a mag pouch.

    7 round shotgun ammo Cards

This is the fourth one I have bought. There is no perfect way to tote extra shotgun rounds, but this item is budget friendly, well made, doesn't interfere w/ the mechanism & allows rapid changes if you want to carry more.

I keep buying these because they're awesome. Some on gun, some in pouches, some under my pillow...

    best option out there

Posted by Alex on 16th Jan 2017

Can't believe more folks aren't using these. On my Mossberg 590A1 the only other one worth using is the Mesa Tactical but it's about 5x as expensive and crucially I don't like that it replaces the ejector screw with its mounting screw. These Esstac cards can come off easily for reloads or if you just don't want it on there. They're affordable, well made, and have great retention.
