Esstac Shotgun Card
There is hook velcro sewn on the back of the shotgun cards. Made for 12gauge shotgun shells only. The "Add Sticky Back Loop Velcro for $1.50" option is a strip of industrial strength loop velcro with industrial strength adhesive. Choose this option if you would like to attach the shotgun card to your shotguns receiver. Please let the velcro adhere for 24 hours to let the adhesive take a set.

Esstac Shotgun card - Simple and fast. My jedi master showed me the true benefit of this simple shotgun reload. Slap some loop on your shotgun's left side. Load a few shotgun cards, and place one on the gun. You can fit the spares (back to back if it's a bigger pouch) in a single mag pouch. 7 rounds of 12 gauge ammunition can be carried on the Esstac Shotgun Card, which is backed with hook. Put two of these back to back, and you have a 14-round bundle that fills up a double M4 magazine pouch. Line the side of your receiver with loop, and you have an ammo "side-saddle" system that you can replace in an instant- perfect for Law Enforcement use, whether it is for breaching or less-lethal rounds. Note from Stu @ Esstac about the elastic loop longevity:
"Shotty cards, treat them like a magazine. They will wear more quickly with use rather then just sitting loaded, they will lose some tension over time but that is normal for elastic, I have a couple ammo cans full of loaded shotgun cards and they are still GTG several years later."

Very nice
Put coyote brown on my mossberg 590a1 spx with magpul fde furniture and matches up quite well. The quality is top notch and the rounds are held in tight. I'm sure they will loosen up in time but that is expected

I've only had them for a couple weeks or so but they seem very well made, and the elastic used seems to create a very snug fit. I assume they will last a long time.

Great so far
Very happy with this product. Have not had a chance to train with these yet. Easy to install ind. strength Velcro from Home Depot on my 870 with holes cut out for pins in receiver just in case. Exactly as advertised. Seems just as good as a hard side saddle and no gunsmithing needed. Plus, makes for easy reloads. Inexpensive but quality product.

Back for more
I got these based on positive reviews, now I'm back for more to fill out my kit. On the plus side the FDE cards have great elastic, and on the nylon-side of the shell holder there's an inch-wide strip of grippy material, like something you'd see taped down around a pool (gray plastic/rubber stuff, not sandpaper skateboard stuff) that is concealed by the wider elastic. Loops are evenly spaced and well stitched, there's uniform tension among each of the loops. My only knock is that the ends are cut and burned which isn't visually appealing, but I can't think of a better way to make it that doesn't also over complicate the design. Function over form. You can stick spares in ar15 style mag pouches or slap them on your plate carrier's superfluous loop everywhere.

Shotgun Card
Order arrived 2 days early-awesome. The cards are great. Quality stitching and elastic. Suprisingly sturdy on the gun and in the pouch. I run a taco on my vest and the 7 round cards fit in it snug but come out with a simple tug, no snagging. Fuckin priceless.

Esstac Shotgun Card
Here is what I know. Price is good, card is great, and shipping was excellent. The only thing that would make these better is if SKD included the loop backer too. (Still waiting on a Die Cut Backer from another vendor) I can't comment on how long these will hold up and probably never will as I purchased them to be placed next to my HD Mossberg for quick reloads. But just by looking at them I would say they could take some abuse before they would need to be replaced.

Great Shotgun Card
The Esstac 7 round shotgun card works as well as the 5 round and gives a bit more capacity. Fits well on the off-side of the shotgun and holds the rounds securely. A great addition to your shotgun set up and highly recommended.
