Esstac Shotgun Card

There is hook velcro sewn on the back of the shotgun cards. Made for 12gauge shotgun shells only. The "Add Sticky Back Loop Velcro for $1.50" option is a strip of industrial strength loop velcro with industrial strength adhesive. Choose this option if you would like to attach the shotgun card to your shotguns receiver. Please let the velcro adhere for 24 hours to let the adhesive take a set.

Esstac Shotgun card - Simple and fast. My jedi master showed me the true benefit of this simple shotgun reload. Slap some loop on your shotgun's left side. Load a few shotgun cards, and place one on the gun. You can fit the spares (back to back if it's a bigger pouch) in a single mag pouch. As you reload the shotgun, tear off the empty shotgun card, pull out a new one and slap it on. You're ready to slay even more zombies. Super easy, cheap when compared to other side saddles, and very, very fast. View More SKD Staff Picks

7 rounds of 12 gauge ammunition can be carried on the Esstac Shotgun Card, which is backed with hook. Put two of these back to back, and you have a 14-round bundle that fills up a double M4 magazine pouch. Line the side of your receiver with loop, and you have an ammo "side-saddle" system that you can replace in an instant- perfect for Law Enforcement use, whether it is for breaching or less-lethal rounds. The versatility of these Shotgun Cards will prove themselves many times over the more you use them!

Note from Stu @ Esstac about the elastic loop longevity:
"Shotty cards, treat them like a magazine. They will wear more quickly with use rather then just sitting loaded, they will lose some tension over time but that is normal for elastic, I have a couple ammo cans full of loaded shotgun cards and they are still GTG several years later."

Black, Coyote Brown, and RangerGreen is Mil Spec Elastic.

Muliticam color is printed Mil Spec Elastic.

    the plastic

Works Bette than old model I had, that plastic strip adds enough friction to mount shells upside down while shooting many 3" and 3.5" slugs. Hasn't dropped on me yet.

    Works great

These work great! They are very handy and I've found that they fit well in M4 pouches (the flap kind). I can fit 2 to a double M4 mag pouch. They also work well when carried in a dump pouch. On a side note, make sure you get good Velcro with a strong adhesive for your shotgun receiver or stock.

Ordered two of these for my Mossberg 930 SPX. They fit very nicely and attach/detaches with ease and stays put when on. Highly recommend this product. Will be getting more!

    works great

Solid piece of equipment. Just an FYI I have the HSGI Ludus leg rig. These fit in there really well, but there is a strip of loop on both sides of the taco the make it a little hard to pull and put back in.

Click click BOOM...after fumbling for 5 minutes

    Posted by G on 2nd Jun 2014

Looks and works as described, with one exception; it took me a good 5 minutes to get the shells into the straps. They are so redonkulously tight that it's hella difficult to get the shells on to the card. That said, I don't think there's a chance they ever come loose by accident. They seem to pull free just fine for reloads though, which is really what matters.

here's a genius idea why don't we include some glue and Velcro to make this a complete packagein case nobody has noticed the cards by themselves don't stick to anything
