Esstac Shotgun Card

There is hook velcro sewn on the back of the shotgun cards. Made for 12gauge shotgun shells only. The "Add Sticky Back Loop Velcro for $1.50" option is a strip of industrial strength loop velcro with industrial strength adhesive. Choose this option if you would like to attach the shotgun card to your shotguns receiver. Please let the velcro adhere for 24 hours to let the adhesive take a set.

Esstac Shotgun card - Simple and fast. My jedi master showed me the true benefit of this simple shotgun reload. Slap some loop on your shotgun's left side. Load a few shotgun cards, and place one on the gun. You can fit the spares (back to back if it's a bigger pouch) in a single mag pouch. As you reload the shotgun, tear off the empty shotgun card, pull out a new one and slap it on. You're ready to slay even more zombies. Super easy, cheap when compared to other side saddles, and very, very fast. View More SKD Staff Picks

7 rounds of 12 gauge ammunition can be carried on the Esstac Shotgun Card, which is backed with hook. Put two of these back to back, and you have a 14-round bundle that fills up a double M4 magazine pouch. Line the side of your receiver with loop, and you have an ammo "side-saddle" system that you can replace in an instant- perfect for Law Enforcement use, whether it is for breaching or less-lethal rounds. The versatility of these Shotgun Cards will prove themselves many times over the more you use them!

Note from Stu @ Esstac about the elastic loop longevity:
"Shotty cards, treat them like a magazine. They will wear more quickly with use rather then just sitting loaded, they will lose some tension over time but that is normal for elastic, I have a couple ammo cans full of loaded shotgun cards and they are still GTG several years later."

Black, Coyote Brown, and RangerGreen is Mil Spec Elastic.

Muliticam color is printed Mil Spec Elastic.

These cards have the highest capacity of any velcro shotgun cards I've seen and I like the versatility of swapping out cards when necessary.

    Best Buget option available

Posted by BRADLEY PIERSON on 16th Aug 2013

I have one mounted to a 18.5" 20g shotgun as a spare HD weapon. I used industrial velcro from Home Depot to mount it to the left side of the gun. The elastic is much thinner than plastic or aluminum (mesa or similar) and thus you can put 7 shells on the gun vs 6 with standard side saddles. No sign of movement from recoil, 550 cord pull tab is VERY solid. The thing is extremely over-built, good luck wearing them out. 20g shells are decently snug in there so I'd bet 12g shells are super tight. Esstac just needs to make a shotgun buttstock pouch/shell holder now! I'm a long time happy esstac and SKD customer!

Was introduced to the product on duty and was so impressed I had to add it to my house gun. Solid design and manufacturing. Should hold up to years of use!!!

    Not Bad for the money

These are constructed with very heavy duty elastic and quality velcro. When loaded with shells they tend to flex some but still stick to the velcro on the reciever well. For fifteen bucks I think these are about as good as it gets. When loaded with standard 2.75" shells these fit perfect in M4/AR single mag pouches.

A little rough around the edges but nice.

Posted by Unknown on 29th Jul 2013

Holds the shells very firmly and the elastic webbing is high quality stuff. A trip to Lowe's (Home Depot doesn't carry it) and 9$ got me a 4' long roll of velcro backing with a good adhesive to stick the the receiver of my shotgun and attach the card. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is that its a little rough/"home made" looking around the edges.

    Great addition to my loadout

Posted by J. Williams on 28th Jul 2013

These are very well made and fit perfectly on my 870 Tactical. I have 4 of them in my 511 double stacked pouches. They go in rather snugly but with one quick jerk, they can be pulled out with ease and thrown on the gun.

    Must Have: Shotgun Card

Posted by S. Laurila on 26th Jul 2013

These things are very well made - 2 fully loaded fit into my Eagle Double Mag Pouch like a dream. It would be nice to have a piece of double sided loop velcro in the middle to hold them together. These come in handy for small game hunting as well - I use them to hold CO2 and tubes of pellets as well as bear bangers and spare batteries.
