Esstac Shotgun Card
There is hook velcro sewn on the back of the shotgun cards. Made for 12gauge shotgun shells only. The "Add Sticky Back Loop Velcro for $1.50" option is a strip of industrial strength loop velcro with industrial strength adhesive. Choose this option if you would like to attach the shotgun card to your shotguns receiver. Please let the velcro adhere for 24 hours to let the adhesive take a set.

Esstac Shotgun card - Simple and fast. My jedi master showed me the true benefit of this simple shotgun reload. Slap some loop on your shotgun's left side. Load a few shotgun cards, and place one on the gun. You can fit the spares (back to back if it's a bigger pouch) in a single mag pouch. 7 rounds of 12 gauge ammunition can be carried on the Esstac Shotgun Card, which is backed with hook. Put two of these back to back, and you have a 14-round bundle that fills up a double M4 magazine pouch. Line the side of your receiver with loop, and you have an ammo "side-saddle" system that you can replace in an instant- perfect for Law Enforcement use, whether it is for breaching or less-lethal rounds. Note from Stu @ Esstac about the elastic loop longevity:
"Shotty cards, treat them like a magazine. They will wear more quickly with use rather then just sitting loaded, they will lose some tension over time but that is normal for elastic, I have a couple ammo cans full of loaded shotgun cards and they are still GTG several years later."

Great Product - Great Site
Shot cards were delivered quickly and they look great on my Mossberg. The elastic is strong and has good retention on the shells. Definitely would recommend to anyone who doesn't have a side saddle or is looking to switch to a better system than a bolt on rigid side saddle. Shotgun cards have great retention on the gun but come off easily with a pull on the paracord loop.

I slapped a pair of these on my Mossberg 930 SPX, one on the side of the receiver and one on the right side of the stock. I used some Velcro brand 2" loop with industrial strength adhesive. Cut to fit and bam. The Esstac cards work great and I have the ability to rapidly reload my shotgun with 14 rounds of ammunition in just seconds. If you have the time, I use a medium sized carabiner attached to my gear to clip the empty cards by the pull loops. There are some top notch "Side Saddles" out there but these offer amazing flexibility. The Velcro does a great job of holding the cards on, even considering how tightly the elastic loops hold shells in the cards. There is a strip of rubberized material sewn into the back of the cards plus the elastic is extremely heavy duty. The only con I can find with these cards is that in the right situation you might be able to snag the cards and rip it from the weapon. At $15 or less each, you can't loose.

How did I manage without this?
I ordered 5 of the shotgun cards to help me in 3 gun. I have seen this concept before and really liked it. I used to use the shell racks mounted to the belt, but the more I shot 3 gun, the more I realize I don't need all that. I can control the individual loads on each card (1 for slugs, 1 for 00 buck, etc......) and either keep the cards in my dumper, or on a carabiner on the belt. Overall, good stuff. If you shoot 3 gun, or anything where you need quick change reloads, these cards are your best friends.

definately worth a look.
Excellent construction, didn't know what to expect from a manufacturer I haven't purchased from before. Was sure what I was going todo with them when I bought them but I am always on the lookout for shotshell carriers. Comes with adhesive backed loop velcro. So they could be mounted on hard surfaces. Thought about using them for under dash in a patrol or counter ambush vehicle.

These cards are exactly what I was looking for. They fit an 870 receiver perfectly, and hold the shells tightly. I'm very pleased.
