Esstac Shotgun Card

There is hook velcro sewn on the back of the shotgun cards. Made for 12gauge shotgun shells only. The "Add Sticky Back Loop Velcro for $1.50" option is a strip of industrial strength loop velcro with industrial strength adhesive. Choose this option if you would like to attach the shotgun card to your shotguns receiver. Please let the velcro adhere for 24 hours to let the adhesive take a set.

Esstac Shotgun card - Simple and fast. My jedi master showed me the true benefit of this simple shotgun reload. Slap some loop on your shotgun's left side. Load a few shotgun cards, and place one on the gun. You can fit the spares (back to back if it's a bigger pouch) in a single mag pouch. As you reload the shotgun, tear off the empty shotgun card, pull out a new one and slap it on. You're ready to slay even more zombies. Super easy, cheap when compared to other side saddles, and very, very fast. View More SKD Staff Picks

7 rounds of 12 gauge ammunition can be carried on the Esstac Shotgun Card, which is backed with hook. Put two of these back to back, and you have a 14-round bundle that fills up a double M4 magazine pouch. Line the side of your receiver with loop, and you have an ammo "side-saddle" system that you can replace in an instant- perfect for Law Enforcement use, whether it is for breaching or less-lethal rounds. The versatility of these Shotgun Cards will prove themselves many times over the more you use them!

Note from Stu @ Esstac about the elastic loop longevity:
"Shotty cards, treat them like a magazine. They will wear more quickly with use rather then just sitting loaded, they will lose some tension over time but that is normal for elastic, I have a couple ammo cans full of loaded shotgun cards and they are still GTG several years later."

Black, Coyote Brown, and RangerGreen is Mil Spec Elastic.

Muliticam color is printed Mil Spec Elastic.

    the new way

Posted by Emilio G on 29th Apr 2013

this is new new way of combat shotgunning. it has so many advantages, and so few disadvantages. aside from the obvious plusses, i love that i can strip rounds off the gun in one step for cleaning or ammo-free transport. i ordered just a 590 side saddle's baseplate from Mesa Tactical and mounted it with velcro. this has enough space to hold a loaded card securely through some violent shaking. with this mounting there are some edges that might catch, but a good slap n' slide hooks the velcro pretty well. i wish the backing material was trimmed more closely to the elastic to minimize edges to catch (there would be some edges even if my 590A1's side were totally covered in velcro). i also think it would be nice if the corners of the backing were cut at an angle to ease draw and insertion.

Perfect Solution For My Condor Carry Case Problem

Posted by Randy McIntosh on 23rd Apr 2013

I obtained a Condor carry case to protect my Kel-Tec KSG shotgun. However, upon getting the case, I noted that the inside of the outer compartment did not have molle strips, but rather a velcro loop arrangement. This was absolutely useless as I was hoping to carry some shotgun shells and could only find the molle variety. However, I did some research and came across this shotgun card that allows for perfect adhesion to my velcro loops. The strips have the mating velcro hooks on the back and can be easily removed with the pull tab to relocate or to more easily load the shotgun. They are of excellent quality and I could not be more pleased. No thanks to Condor for such a bad carry case design idea, but thank you to Esstac for making these shotgun cards available for the solution to my problem!

    Esstac Shotgun Card

Posted by David Jackson on 22nd Apr 2013

First saw one of these Esstac Shotgun Cards at a shotgun class at Front Sight. Of all the ammo carriers in a class of thirty people, this one seemed to be the most practical. It's well built and good at the job. We have several for our guns and are quite happy with them all and we may buy more.

    Great gear!

Excellent, robust construction and materials. These shotcards are absolutely worth the money. They attach quite solidly to the "pile" end of velcro and do a great job holding on during run and gun. With 2 3/4" shells two will fit perfectly in a rifle magazine pouch.

excellent product, holds 7 shells securely and easy and fast install, just cut a 2 inch wide piece of velcro, apply to the left side of shotgun reciever, stick on shotcard and done..excellent value vs a side saddle and no weapon modification needed, also easier to clean the shotgun vs a sidesaddle. as always shipping from skd was super fast and efficient, 5 stars on customer service and the product.

It holds shells tight but not to tight. vel crow is strong, sticks to my shotgun snug even wile shooting slugs rapidly. I will be buying more as long as they hold up, in witch i'm confident.

    Great modification to a boomstick

Posted by Steven Welch on 16th Apr 2013

I got two of these cards, one on the side of the buttstock, one on the side of the receiver body. Perfect addition to the gun allowing me to carry 14 more rounds on the gun itself. I removed my tacstar side saddle for this product and will recommend it to my friends and family.
