Esstac Shotgun Card
There is hook velcro sewn on the back of the shotgun cards. Made for 12gauge shotgun shells only. The "Add Sticky Back Loop Velcro for $1.50" option is a strip of industrial strength loop velcro with industrial strength adhesive. Choose this option if you would like to attach the shotgun card to your shotguns receiver. Please let the velcro adhere for 24 hours to let the adhesive take a set.

Esstac Shotgun card - Simple and fast. My jedi master showed me the true benefit of this simple shotgun reload. Slap some loop on your shotgun's left side. Load a few shotgun cards, and place one on the gun. You can fit the spares (back to back if it's a bigger pouch) in a single mag pouch. 7 rounds of 12 gauge ammunition can be carried on the Esstac Shotgun Card, which is backed with hook. Put two of these back to back, and you have a 14-round bundle that fills up a double M4 magazine pouch. Line the side of your receiver with loop, and you have an ammo "side-saddle" system that you can replace in an instant- perfect for Law Enforcement use, whether it is for breaching or less-lethal rounds. "Shotty cards, treat them like a magazine. They will wear more quickly with use rather then just sitting loaded, they will lose some tension over time but that is normal for elastic, I have a couple ammo cans full of loaded shotgun cards and they are still GTG several years later."

Excellent for Mossberg 500 Sidesaddle Card
These are perfect for use as an easily removeable and replaceable shell holder for attching to the side of a Mossberg 500 receiver. Just get a roll of 4ft x 2in industrial strength Velcro and attach an appropriately shaped section of the smooth (fabric) part of the Velcro to the left side of the shotgun's receiver. You now have an instant on/off Esstac Shotgun Card sidesaddle. Get a Triple M4 Mag pouch and you can use it to carry your loaded shotgun cards -just use a cut side of an empty shell box as a divider between shotgun cards to keep them from sticking together and easier to remove from the pouch. I love these cards. They may seem tight at first, but that's why I like them so much. Just insert your finger in the sleeve and enter the shell at an angle from the opposite side and they'll slide right in.

Shotgun Cards Made with Care
Upon receipt of the Shotgun Cards I ordered, after subduing my excitement and inspecting the product, I was pleased with the obvious hand-crafting of the product. The elastic loops are extremely tight (almost too tight) and I have kept some shells in them to help loosent them up a bit, but have confidence that my shells arent going anywhere due to recoil. On the flip side, this does make manipulation of the rounds a tad difficult, hence my atempt to loosen the loops. The seemingly insignificant feature of the paracord loop is extremely helpful in removing the card from the shotgun with positive control and minimal effort, allowing you to focus on the target during manipulation. I have not fired with the cards attached to the gun yet, but have no doubt that the velcro and elastic loops will not fail during oiperation. Excellent product from Esstac, excellent purchasing experience from SKD.

Esstac shotgun card
Shotguns are by their nature 'ammunition deficient'. Various attempts have been made to provide for additional shells with varying success. I saw the Esstac in use at a Tactical Shotgun course at Front Sight Firearms Training Institute and was favorably impressed. My one kvetch is that it was not clear that the 'loop' material was not provided and they didn't say that. This is not a great problem in that it is available at most hardware stores. Be sure to get the 'industrial strength adhesive.

Great shell holder!
These are light. They hold the shells very tight and can be stripped off easily. They will not move while shooting. It's a plus that they fit in AR15 mag pouches while loaded with shells.

The best option
These make more sense than anything else out there. Slap some velcro on the side of your shotty and load up on some Esstac Shotgun Cards. Simply the fastest way to reload a pump or semi auto 12GA shotgun.

Better than expected
for 15.00 I thought these cards where going to be a little cheaply made. But at first inspection, I found them to be well made with double stiching and a stiff backing. I got 2 one for my 930 SPX and one for my 590A1 SPX, they fit the receivers well, I will be buying more in the future.
