Esstac Shotgun Card
There is hook velcro sewn on the back of the shotgun cards. Made for 12gauge shotgun shells only. The "Add Sticky Back Loop Velcro for $1.50" option is a strip of industrial strength loop velcro with industrial strength adhesive. Choose this option if you would like to attach the shotgun card to your shotguns receiver. Please let the velcro adhere for 24 hours to let the adhesive take a set.

Esstac Shotgun card - Simple and fast. My jedi master showed me the true benefit of this simple shotgun reload. Slap some loop on your shotgun's left side. Load a few shotgun cards, and place one on the gun. You can fit the spares (back to back if it's a bigger pouch) in a single mag pouch. As you reload the shotgun, tear off the empty shotgun card, pull out a new one and slap it on. You're ready to slay even more zombies. Super easy, cheap when compared to other side saddles, and very, very fast. View More SKD Staff Picks
7 rounds of 12 gauge ammunition can be carried on the Esstac Shotgun Card, which is backed with hook. Put two of these back to back, and you have a 14-round bundle that fills up a double M4 magazine pouch. Line the side of your receiver with loop, and you have an ammo "side-saddle" system that you can replace in an instant- perfect for Law Enforcement use, whether it is for breaching or less-lethal rounds. The versatility of these Shotgun Cards will prove themselves many times over the more you use them!
Note from Stu @ Esstac about the elastic loop longevity:
"Shotty cards, treat them like a magazine. They will wear more quickly with use rather then just sitting loaded, they will lose some tension over time but that is normal for elastic, I have a couple ammo cans full of loaded shotgun cards and they are still GTG several years later."
Black, Coyote Brown, and RangerGreen is Mil Spec Elastic.
Muliticam color is printed Mil Spec Elastic.

The best way to carry shells!
I bought this to compare to a similar product from another company. The Esstac model was much more rigid than the other brand, though both seemed perfectly capable of doing their job. Esstac PROs: - Wider elastic (more contact with shell) - Sticky rubber lining inside shell loops - 3 color choices Esstac CONs: - Only one size option (competing model has 5/6/7-shot option) - Long pull-cord is paracord and can snag more easily than a wide flat strap loop - Requires more break-in as it holds the shells extremely tight, initially 4 stars only because I would prefer the multiple size option offered from other brands! If you need a 7-shot holder, this is the one to get!

Shtogun case
Great case. The only problem is the loops on the outside of the bag are very difficult to load with shells. The loops should be elastic like the ones inside the pockets they are currently not.

Great Idea/Great Product
I purchased 3 of these in coyote brown for my 870. I felt this was a smarter and more economical option than permanently mounting a quality side saddle and it gives me more flexibility in my ammo options as well. If the situation changes or I have to get extra rounds they are just a rip and slap away.

Esstac Shotgun Card
Great quality . very well thought out, shells almost lock in place but slide right out when needed. shells dont get stuck because of the sewn in plastic material on the backing. Only thing is the tan color option is more of a brown/green instead of a cyote color

Good value and versatility
I glued loop velcro to the side of my Mossberg 500 and use this only when i need it. Much better than the China-star plastic fixed version I had previous. Shells are a bit hard to get in, but it does hold 7 as opposed the 6 I had before.

Epic shotgun accessory
I decided to use these shotgun cards as sidesaddles on my shotgun, by attaching industrial strength velcro to my 870. They work beautifully and I'm able to swap the loads on my shotgun within seconds. The closest thing to a shotgun "magazine" that I've ever run into.

Can't beat price and application potentials!
I purchased two to try out. Great pc of kit and has tons of applications. Only downside I can see is when fully loaded the backing bends making the fit on solid objects like a shotgun receiver not a good as I'd like.
