Esstac Shotgun Card
There is hook velcro sewn on the back of the shotgun cards. Made for 12gauge shotgun shells only. The "Add Sticky Back Loop Velcro for $1.50" option is a strip of industrial strength loop velcro with industrial strength adhesive. Choose this option if you would like to attach the shotgun card to your shotguns receiver. Please let the velcro adhere for 24 hours to let the adhesive take a set.

Esstac Shotgun card - Simple and fast. My jedi master showed me the true benefit of this simple shotgun reload. Slap some loop on your shotgun's left side. Load a few shotgun cards, and place one on the gun. You can fit the spares (back to back if it's a bigger pouch) in a single mag pouch. As you reload the shotgun, tear off the empty shotgun card, pull out a new one and slap it on. You're ready to slay even more zombies. Super easy, cheap when compared to other side saddles, and very, very fast. View More SKD Staff Picks
7 rounds of 12 gauge ammunition can be carried on the Esstac Shotgun Card, which is backed with hook. Put two of these back to back, and you have a 14-round bundle that fills up a double M4 magazine pouch. Line the side of your receiver with loop, and you have an ammo "side-saddle" system that you can replace in an instant- perfect for Law Enforcement use, whether it is for breaching or less-lethal rounds. The versatility of these Shotgun Cards will prove themselves many times over the more you use them!
Note from Stu @ Esstac about the elastic loop longevity:
"Shotty cards, treat them like a magazine. They will wear more quickly with use rather then just sitting loaded, they will lose some tension over time but that is normal for elastic, I have a couple ammo cans full of loaded shotgun cards and they are still GTG several years later."
Black, Coyote Brown, and RangerGreen is Mil Spec Elastic.
Muliticam color is printed Mil Spec Elastic.

An economical and flexible shell carrier.
Esstac shotgun cards are easy to install and affordable, requiring only industrial strength adhesive-backed loop material to install. Mounting solution allows usage across any number of shotguns or strategic mounting on gear to facilitate replacement of empty card on long gun. Elastic holding shotshells in place is especially strong, so strong that one haded replacement of shotshells is difficult, but this user finds it a small penalty in light of other advantages offered by system. This reviewer recommends a purchase. Buy three.

Just right
These cards fit just right in the AR magwells on my plate carrier. The horizontal loop Velcro on the chest is a perfect place to slap a fresh card right out of the magwell.

Buy with confidence
I like it so much I just ordered another one.

Buy them!
Excellent product. The idea behind the card is to be able to reload, rip it off and replace it with a fresh one almost like running your shotgun off a magazine. They fit in AR magazine pouches and will mount on the stock or receiver of just about any shotgun. They are 7 1/4" long and 2" wide so if you have a short LOP stock, it will be too long but it can still be used on the receiver.

Esstac REALLY takes care of their customers!
I bought six of their cards and had some problems with them at the range so I contacted Esstac and they sent me replacements free of charge. The new cards are perfect in every way. This is a really good company making some excellent products and they will have my business for life.

Great Gear
This Shotgun Card is a great alternative to a plastic side saddle. It keeps your shells in place during extended use and is easy to switch out for a fresh one. Just attach some heavy duty loop velcro to the left side of your breach and you are ready to go! I bought a couple to always have seven shells on hand and on my gun.

Elastic Type-velcro-7Shell-side saddle
I have a couple of Ares Gear (5 shells) cards to compare. In comparison...I like the Esstac card for the + 2 capacity. The loops on the Esstac are tighter but the elastic on the Ares Gear looks and feels like higher quality. The Esstac is also curls towards the side of the shells when you load it up with shells; not a big problem. I cut a few of the Esstacs down to 4 and 2 shell cards; sacrificing 1 sleeve. Now I have a 2 shell (slug) card just behind ejection port and a number of configuration options on the other side. I would/will buy more.

Great way of having extra shells on hand
Great way of having extra shells on hand. Mounted a loop panel to the side of my receiver and plan to use these as detachable side carriers for 3gun. Will update after a couple matches.
