Esstac Shotgun Card
There is hook velcro sewn on the back of the shotgun cards. Made for 12gauge shotgun shells only. The "Add Sticky Back Loop Velcro for $1.50" option is a strip of industrial strength loop velcro with industrial strength adhesive. Choose this option if you would like to attach the shotgun card to your shotguns receiver. Please let the velcro adhere for 24 hours to let the adhesive take a set.

Esstac Shotgun card - Simple and fast. My jedi master showed me the true benefit of this simple shotgun reload. Slap some loop on your shotgun's left side. Load a few shotgun cards, and place one on the gun. You can fit the spares (back to back if it's a bigger pouch) in a single mag pouch. 7 rounds of 12 gauge ammunition can be carried on the Esstac Shotgun Card, which is backed with hook. Put two of these back to back, and you have a 14-round bundle that fills up a double M4 magazine pouch. Line the side of your receiver with loop, and you have an ammo "side-saddle" system that you can replace in an instant- perfect for Law Enforcement use, whether it is for breaching or less-lethal rounds. Note from Stu @ Esstac about the elastic loop longevity:
"Shotty cards, treat them like a magazine. They will wear more quickly with use rather then just sitting loaded, they will lose some tension over time but that is normal for elastic, I have a couple ammo cans full of loaded shotgun cards and they are still GTG several years later."

Best SG card I've used.
Obviously a well thought out & well made product. The loop is much easier to grasp with a glove than other options from other manufactures. If you don't need to switch out a SG card on the move then it is not an issue. If you do need to change out that card quickly...then that loop becomes REALLY important. I also like the different colors - easier to ID different shell setups. Only one complaint...they seem to be out of stock all the time. :) Esstac needs to kick up production & distribution!

Why didn't someone make these sooner?
I bought 3 of these "cards" for my Benelli M2 a while ago and just ordered 2 more. I bought some industrial strength sticky back velcro and applied it to the left side of my receiver so these cards can be stuck right to it. The elastic seems to be good quality and if they do fail at some point, you can simply toss it and replace it with a new one. I believe this product is suitable for multi-gun competitions and tactical/defensive applications.

I've ordered these shot shell cards. This being my second order, I've found consistent quality and workmanship. I like that SDK ships quick and lets you know if the item is in stock or not. I'm also impressed with the cheap shipping rates. I got the shot shell cards during their holiday sale, I do wish they would lower their regular price.

Teh awesome
I now have 8 of the shotgun cards, and have used them both at the range, during dry-fire, and during a 3 day Shotgun course. The material has held up admirably, and the cards work as advertised. It's quick and easy to swap an empty card for a new one, and the fully loaded cards fit well in my pockets or stuck to my chest rig. My only "complaint" is that after holding shells for a few days, the elastic is no longer tight enough to retain shells brass down under full recoil when attached to the receiver. Any shells pointing brass down will start hitting the deck after a few full house shots. This is a minor complaint, as I don't expect mere elastic strapping to alter the laws of physics. I would not hesitate to recommend this item to anyone.
