Using laser-cut thermoplastic, we have created a semi-rigid cummerbund that enhances stability and weight distribution for the operator. The 5AC features a hidden stretch section
that adjusts automatically to body movement for added comfort and includes adjustable comms routing which can be flipped and used on the top or bottom of the cummerbund. It attaches to any vest with hook-and-loop fasteners on the front and rear plate bags. Its rigidity supports side armor without the sag seen in other designs, and its 5-inch height maintains stability under increased loads.

When choosing a size we recommend considering if you are going to be wearing Side Plates, Radios, or both as those will add girth to the inside of the cummerbund.
