This belt is of great quality. It fits well and is sturdy enough to carry just about anything from your sidearm to any other accessory. Great buy.

    FirstSpear Belt

This is a good and durable belt. The buckle has never accidentally come un-done, but is easy to release deliberately. The only problem is that it's difficult to adjust near the limit of its length because the "hook tape" adds just enough thickness to make pushing the belt through the buckle a pain. As long as it's only adjusted in the normal range of length it works very well. I use this belt as the inner belt for a Velocity Systems Utility Belt, but I don't think it would work through any normal sized belt loop.

    great belt

Great belt and the price is right. Really sturdy construction with two webbings sewn together where it is needed. The only con I have is that I ordered a large. Which is just too small when wearing it with the hsgi sure grip belt. Other than that, no problems what so ever.

    Great Belt for the Price

Posted by Philip on 18th Jul 2013

This belt is very nice and functional. It has the perfect stiffness for what I was looking for. Plenty stiff enough to hold a pistol and 4 or 5 AR magazines but still contours to your waistline. Shipping was fast and reliable as always with SKD too!

THIS is how gun belts should be built

Posted by bruin on 15th Jul 2013

For a 1.75" gun belt, five rows of stitching and an HDPE stiffener are the way to go. I believe the webbing is Mil-W-4088 Type 13 for the khaki AGB, and combined with the Cobra buckle and length of velcro closure this belt is pretty much as strong as it gets. The foliage Cobra buckle is a matte grey that matches all clothing colors well and stands out less than a tan, coyote, or black one. Most users probably don't need a rigger's attachment point, so it makes sense to leave it off to save weight and belt space. Loop liner on the inside should go without saying, and with a hook-faced inner belt (from US Grunt Gear or Jones Tactical) you could wear the AGB as an outer belt without keepers. The AGB is also priced a bit less than comparable Cobra belts. You can't get a more solid and well thought-out belt for the money.

Outstanding service from SKD, as always. I looked at several other quality name brands of belts before settling on the Firstspear. It is exactly what I was looking for in a belt that allows me to carry concealed, every day, comfortably. Very solid, and does not sag when wearing my holster. I am a 36" waist and the large was true to size and fit exactly as it should. Would highly recommend this product!

    Great belt!

Received the belt fairly fast for APO shipping. Was concerned about it not being 2" wide for use in my issued battle belt, but those concerns went away once I felt how stiff it was. It's just as stiff, if not more, than the 2" duty belt that was there first. This belt will not roll if you hang stuff off of it. Price was pretty reasonable too.
