FirstSpear Line One Belt - BioThane®

Borrowing its name from an old NSW term for first level of clothing or gear, the Line One Belt has amazing tactical performance that maintains the high level of comfort and mobility usually associated with leather. Urethane covered Nylon provides superior strength and weather-resistance - this belt won’t crack, peel, or become stiff in frigid temperatures.

Specially tempered, non-slip coating eliminates “break-in” time and allows for flex like leather, yet it is impervious to sweat and water and will not stretch or lose its original shape. An excellent platform for concealed carry or for just keeping your pants up with style!

Small: 30" - 34" (39.5" Tip to Tip)
Med: 34" - 38" (43.25" Tip to Tip)
Large: 38" - 42" (47.5" Tip to Tip)
X-Large" 42" - 46" (51.25" Tip to Tip)

Be aware that Sizing doesnt relate to pants size.

I wear size 32 in jeans normally and ordered the Small belt. It was too small. The buckle was on the last notch available. I went with a Medium so I would have a couple extra notches to carry concealed.

    Good looking sturdy belt

Really durable but low profile belt. Perfect for everyday wear, and sturdy enough for more demanding circumstances as well. Well worth the price. I expect it to last more or less indefinitely.

    Wanted something different...

I have not worn this enough to give a long term review... but I will give my impressions after a few weeks of use. 4 out of 5 because I haven't had it long enough to comment better. It Is One Tough Belt... the belt itself is very strong, it is as pliable as leather, I do believe the belt itself will be very durable, if the buckle is as durable it is a keeper. The thickness is just right.. I do wish it was offered in more precise sizes though. I did not like how "tacky" ( sticky ) the texture was out of the box. it gripped the pants, making the fitting adjustments , adjusting the belt to line up with the center of the pants near impossible... a little Car Trim Restorer slicked it up just right. A very easy fix.

    Good carry belt

Finally retired my old reinforced 5.11 belt that had broken internally. Been wearing this FS belt for a week now with a 5" 1911. Holds up a holster and a mag pouch well, but is pliable enough that it doesn't dig in to my sides like some of my really stiff belts. Size: Ordered a medium after measuring my belt from hole to tip at 36". I wear 34" pants for IWB carry. i'm at the 3rd hole in on the FS belt and it's comfortable. Room to grow and room to lose a few.

    Great except....

Posted by James Drouin on 17th Jan 2014

This belt is amazing. Everything about it is top notch except that the sizing was off. Chart said Med: 34" - 38", I wear a 36" and it was too small. I couldn't come close to the first hole. A real shame too, I really wanted to keep it. SKD was real professional with the return process. I will be getting another one in large when it is back in stock.

    Not my ideal gun belt

Nice belt . looks good and I will use it for work no problem. But I was under the impression it was a stiff thick gunbelt. It's not

    Awesome belt!

I rarely use the word awesome, but this belt is just that. I wear it every day as my EDC belt with normal clothes, and to the range and for training as a 'First Line' belt. It does the job as described and it retains its original shape, including not curving like most leather belts do.

    Perfect EDC/Concealment Belt

Posted by Vinh Nguyen on 27th May 2013

The rubbery Biothane grips fine and is less prone to slippage on both my jeans and khakis. This is a plus because I rotate my IWB holster from side to appendix carry depending on the situation if I will either be standing or sitting down a lot. So far, the belt has held up well for the past few weeks with barely any noticeable wear or holster marks whatsoever on the material. The belt itself looks casual and blends in very well for my concealment purposes. I wear 31" to 33" pant waist sizes, depending on mfg, and opted to upgrade a size to the medium size of belts for 34"-38" after reading other reviews, and also accounting for the fact that I carry IWB most of the time. When carrying, this leaves me at the 3rd of the 5th holes on the belt, and when not carrying or OWB the 4th hole is sufficient. Only time will tell if this belt holds up, but so far I am extremely pleased with my choice. PS - SKD is the shit. That is all.

    FirstSpear line one belt Biothane

Love this Belt. I carry daily and this belt holds everything in the proper position. Looks like a nice belt and not like a holster belt but does not budge when drawing and holds my holster and spare mag with no problems. I would recommend this belt to anyone who dresses casually and carries as well as anyone else. I was not sure about the material it is made out of but know I really like BioThane.....
