HSGI "Pistol TACO" Single Universal Pistol Mag Pouch - MOLLE

These are great tools for your kit. I've used them for years and have no complaints whatsoever. The retention system avoids using intricate finger manipulation under stress...because we all know those high speed fingers can seem more like crab claws when you're playing for keeps and need another magazine. They are extremely durable, but if something wears out over time (maybe the shock cord) you can easily fix it yourself. Fast shipping and about the best price I could find online.

Took several days to breakin, was fairly difficult to reinsert mags into the taco at first. But overall pretty happy with them.

I've always heard about these pouches and finally decided it was time to get my own. Upon arrival, I was stunned at how high quality and rugged these pouches really are. They do come with MALICE clips and are a little time consuming and tedious to put on, but once they're on, they're not going anywhere. Pro's: Extremely high quality build Retention of mags is unbelievable Low profile Light weight Very easy to draw a fresh mag Fits just about anything (I keep a leatherman in one, and a Surefire in another) Cons: Difficult to get on MOLLE until you get the hang of it. Over a superb mag pouch and would DEFIANTLY recommend this to just about anyone, well worth the price.

After being in the Army Infantry overseas and using a multitude of GI mag pouches and gear, and some personally bought gear that were sub par. Now being a civilian and using many different brands of mag pouches and gear i have to say HSGI Taco pouches are some of the most thought out, versatile and user friendly mag pouches out here. Mounted them and instantly fell in love with them.

Easier attachment than rifle mag, and extremely modular.

They hold magazines. Specifically pistol magazines. So yeah if you need something that holds magazines these hold magazines.

fit my glock 22 mags with no problem, and can also hold any other gear of magazine size

The Pistol Taco holds my 5.11 ATAC R3 very well. Took me a little getting used to it but after a couple of days I think this is the perfect holster for this flashlight as it is a little bigger than my original carry. Shipping was fast.

These mag pouches are great. Completely universal, open top, sturdy. I was reluctant to buy at first because I didn't like that the MOLLE webbing wasn't multicam in the pictures and I'd read that they were unbelievably ridiculous to try to install but neither were an issue that outweighed the benefits of such a universal mag holder. The former in fact was a non issue as the webbing IS multicam and a flathead screwdriver and needle nose pliers make the install much faster and easier. There's also a really helpful install video on youtube if you simply search "HSGI TACO install". The only complaint I have is that I was sent black malice clips with both my pistol and rifle pouches which I honestly think is pretty stupid as anyone needing multicam would more than likely prefer them in tan for obvious reasons.
