Lancer L5AWM Advanced Warfighter Magazine, 30 Round
The L5 AWM is a hybrid magazine that combines the best features of polymer and steel magazine designs.
Unique to the AWM is the one piece wrap-around hardened steel feed lip assembly that is permanently attached to an impact resistant polymer body. The hardened steel feed lips wont bend, break or deform due to rough handling or long term storage. An aggressive surface texture has been applied to the polymer body to improve gripping and retrieval from pouches. The combination of steel and polymer result in a lightweight, robust magazine tough enough for professional use.
The internal geometry of the Advanced Warfighter Magazine is a constant curve that has been maximized to feed the 5.56X45mm NATO round and has a non-tilting follower for trouble-free feeding. The feed lips are made from a single piece of precision formed steel that is hardened, then PTFE coated for corrosion resistance. The body and component materials are corrosion and chemical resistant, passing military chemical testing, including exposure to DEET.
The L5 AWM is compatible with modern weapon systems; M4/M16/AR15, HK416, SCAR-L / Mk16, and the ARX160 to name a few.

Great mags
Probably more reliable than pmags, especially if you consider the steel feed lips, spine, and upper portion of the mag. They are not as bulky as pmags, making them easier to put in/take out out of pouches

great product- from a great on line store!!

Great mags!
I use these mags in Afghanistan and they can certainly take some abuse. It is great not having to guess how many rounds are left. One quick glance and you know exactly what you have. Bought some more to round out the house supply. Highly recommend!

Good mags
Only shot 100 rounds through them but so far so good. I like them better than my pmags. They fit in pouches better, are just as reliable and have steel feed lips. Will be buying more

L5AWM TLC Brown
I love this mag, it is similar to the Transclucent Smoke, it is not as dark as people say it is. Took it to open range today, and man did it turn people's heads. The SF Sgt who was running the range, looked at it quite abit before he asked about it. I even had a Major who was milling about ask to use my mag. He asked who manufactured it, and where I got it from. I love these mags, and I intend on picking up a few more of them.

Lancer L5AWM
I did a cycling test for reliability for Magazines, and checked for reliability. I did the standard USGI Aluminum v PMAG v Lancer L5AWM with 250rnds a piece. 12/3/1 is the order in which user errors /feed errors occured.(For those who ask, my rifle is a Colt LE6920MPFDE) Not only did the magazine feel lighter, but everything about its Aesthetics felt right. I loved it's anti-tilt follower, it's grips, and I love that it is translucent, which I could know how many rounds were left at a glance. I could find nothing wrong with this rifle. When these get back in stock I am picking up 3 T Browns and 2 more Smokes to compliment my loadout.

My favorite mag
I would buy nothing but Lancers if I could afford them... I keep a small cache of these and Pmags as backups. They feed flawlessly and look great. Plus, the practicality of being able to visually inspect how many rounds are in your mag is priceless.

Lancer L5 AWM 30rd
First thermoplastic magazine I've found that I don't consider to be disposable.
