Magpul ASAP Ambidextrous Sling Attachment Point
The ASAP was designed to give a shooter over 180 degrees range of motion of the sling attachment point and can be used ambidextrously by both left or right handed shooters. This sling mount gives the shooter a tactical advantage allowing a full range of motion and minimizes binding while switching shoulders. This is particularly important in situations such as shooting around corners or if the shooter was injured. The ASAP is designed for use with Single-Point slings with a snap hook (such as the Magpul MS2 Sling) on CAR-15/M4 Carbines.

Versatile mount
Picked one up to go with the MS2 sling. Mounted well on a RRA. Transitions smoothly. Very nice single point set-up.

Not too bad overall
This is the first sling mount that I have mounted on my AR, install wasn't hard at all, except for tightening the castle nut, the way the mount is will only allow the stock wrench to only go so far with it, then you have to off set the wench on the nut to get it tight. Other than that I like the ability to convert from right to left then back again without getting hung by my sling. I would recommend getting the MS2 sling with this mount they work well together.

Very strong easy to install took me about 5 min love this thing will work with almost any single point sling in about any situation very dynamic. Will be buying more for my other rifles. If youre not sure you want one of these or dont know how you would use it pick up a copy of The art of the tactical carbine also a great buy

Best sling mount around
I recently got into magpul dynamics were you need to be able to switch shooting shoulders quickly. This mount allows you to do that easily. Be able to shoot your rifle on your left or right shoulder gives you a great advantage in a combat situation.

Works very well
Overall it works very good. Don't care for the ring bouncing around when not in use, but it's not as noisy as I had thought it would be. Works very good for transitioning the rifle from one side to the other. Note that there is one draw back if you have a SR15 where the the wings of the ASAP plate can't go on without modification due to the SR15 E3 lower having push button adapters built into it.

pretty good
just like all of the other magpul products this breaks the mold def harder to install than a traditional end plate due to the retaining bar that you have to gingerly slide in to avoid it falling over but you dont have to worry about the tube being straight because the weird design helps wiht that.
