The Magpul PMAG Ranger Plate is a floor plate replacement for the 5.56x45 PMAG AR/M4 GEN M3 magazines that incorporates an integral loop similar to the original Magpul USGI Ranger. When installed on the base of a the magazine, the PMAG Ranger Plate provides unsurpassed speed and control during high stress, tactical magazine changes.
NOTE: This Ranger Plate is a dedicated fit for GEN M3 PMAGS. Will NOT fit PMAG GEN M2 MOE magazines, EMAG, 30G MagLevel, 7.62x51 PMAGS, or any metal magazine.

Excellent Product
I live in a state that limits capacity to 15 rounds and as that is not a standard available AR magazine, 10 round magazines are the only ones that can be disassembled for cleaning. These plates make them easier to handle when changing magazines.

Cool upgrade adds some grip and flare.
I haven't had the chance to run these in a chest rig yet but they are ergonomic and add some distinction to your plain old mags. I would recommend just because they look cool but they appear to be functional as well.
