    Control and Stability

I have read many reviews that compare Magpul's RVG to the AFG. For me, the Vertical Grip feels better, because my hands ar bigger than the AFGs. People complain that the weight of your firearm rests on the wrong part of your arm with the Vertical grip. I disagreee because when you shoulder your gun, the vertical grip gives you a nice flat surface to pull the buttstock firmly into your shoulder. but to each his/her own. Either way, you can't go wrong with Magpul products. The RVG has a nice feel / texture and will mount securely to your picatinny rail and will not have any play or unwanted movement.

    Fore Grip

Absolute solid front grip. Attached to Midwest Industries MI-T10 hand guard there is zero deflection. The lower profile design and large diameter allow for a solid hand purchase. The RVG is an great all around product in terms of use, features, price, and value. Highly recommended accessory if considering a forward grip.

    Comfortable

This grip is great. Does what it needs to and is easy to install. The only thing I wish it had was a plug or cap at the bottom so you could use it to store something like matches. or firing pin, or other spare parts.

    An Ideal Grip

For the longest time I had hated fore grips on my AR, feeling that they were too long or too thin, preferring to grip the mag well instead. If that's how you feel about fore grips, then this grip is what you want. It's not too long so that it jams in your side whilst slung, and it's not so short that there's nothing to grip. It's that perfect medium that allows for multiple grip styles. Well worth the money.

Perfect blend of size and weight

I had not gone through more disappointment than I have while looking for the right vertical grip. I had tried a Tango Down, which was too big and felt cheap, and then I got a Streamlight aluminum which was nice, but way too heavy. I finally found the Magpul RVG and it is the perfect blend of size and weight. I prefer to use the vertical grip to give me the "thumb over" grip. The RVG is notched at the top to allow you to index your middle finger. The grip is lightweight, but solid and just big enough to go with the "thumb over" or "beer can" grip.

    Cost effective grip

The Magpul RVG grip provides an excellent solution as a rail mounted vertical grip. Its light, sturdy, and all and the smaller side of the vertical grip market. I was using a longer and heavier Daniel Defense grip; which I really like, but I found it to be a little on the heavy side, causing the gun's balance to shift to far forward. The RVG solved this problem for me. PROS: Light, great value, perfect size CONS: hollow core can pick up dirt, mud, and debris in the field.
