Ready Tactical AR15 Ambi Speed Mag Pouch

If you are looking for a quick way to carry an extra mag on duty, or want a blazing fast reload for 3-Gun matches, look no further than the self-tensioning AR15 Ambi Speed Pouch from Ready Tactical! The exclusive RT belt loop system is actually a cross between a loop and a paddle, securing directly onto the belt without having to take it off.

The unique self-tensioning design provides the perfect amount of resistance to keep the mags in, yet releases them with startling speed when pulled on. These pouches are simply amazing performers- and cost effective as well!

    excellent retention

Fits easily on my belt. Locks in tight. No chance of my p-mags falling out. Anyone tired of carrying spare mags in their pocket so they don't have to wear a chest rig will love these.

    Ambidextrous a plus

Very pleased with these mag holders. Being a lefty, any item that proves to be truly ambidextrous is a plus! Good magazine retention, excellent lock to 1.5" belt.

I picked up one of these last year to use carry a extra mag while hunting with a Mini 14. Nothing but great things to say about this pouch, used it all winter hunting coyotes in the cold never hard to remove the mag always easy to get out.

    Solid product.

I purchased one of these mag pouches to try out. I initially looked at some other kydex pouches but these looked to be the least bulky and already had great reviews. I have only used it a couple times but the retention for standard aluminum mags and Pmags are excellent. I actually put the mag pouch on my belt upside down with a loaded 30rd Pmag and jumped and ran around and the mag did not come out. Yet with a good pull on the mag it pops right out. I'd say the retention is just right. So far there are no cons, but I have yet to use them in a class. I also recently ordered one of the pistol mag pouches and plan to use it in conjunction with the AR mag pouch. It does what it says it'll do and for a great price!

Great Product and IWB AR15 mag pouch.

I received my Ready Tactical Ambi Speed Pouches about 6 months ago, and have been loving them ever since. In training I wear them IWB at the 10 o'clock and 8 o'clock position. I've taken a number of tumbles at high speed with these on, and the mags have never once been accidentally removed. The kydex holds the magazine in place with retention only, and do so very well; a firm tug and it is free. While worn outside on the belt, they are very comfortable, but not very low profile as the pouch tends to cant away from the body at a 10 degree angle. IWB: these easily, and with relative comfort, conceal the two magazines under a loose fitted t-shirt. I highly recommend these simple, effective, and inexpensive magazine pouches from Ready Tactical.

    Extremely versatile mag pouch!

I purchased the Ready Tactical AR15 Ambi Speed Mag Pouch because of reviews I read on two different forums. The pouch is truly ambidextrous, and I have used it in three matches carried on a leather pistol belt. Aluminum, steel, and Magpul magazines are equally secure, whether "bullet forward" or backwards. Outstanding belt loop design allows the mag pouch to be attached nearly as easily as a paddle holster.

AR -15 Mag Pouches - AWESOME!

Posted by Aaron Butler on 14th Jul 2010

I have two of these for Action Rifle and 3-Gun Competition. I've used several different kinds over the year, from fabric to kydex, and I have to say that these are by far the best AR-15 mag pouches that I have ever used. Action Rifle and 3-gun require lots of running at times and I've had magazines get left in my dust with other mag pouches....not with these. I can turn on the afterburners and know that when I get to my next shooting position my mags will be there. These hold the magazine very securely, sit at just the perfect level on your belt, and pair up nicely with your pistol mag holders. I highly recommend these magazines to anyone looking for a well made, secure way to carry your AR-15 mags, for duty or for competition.

    Outstanding

I bought four of these to use in a three-day tactical rifle class. I used them with 20-round PMAGs and also some aluminum mags. I used a 1.5 inch nylon instructor's belt. These pouches worked great. They held the mags securely and it was easy to pull them out. I highly recommend these pouches!

Ready Tactical AR15 Ambi Speed Mag Pouch

Posted by VolGrad on 2nd Jul 2010

I recently took my first carbine class and was completely starting from scratch with my gear. A buddy recommended Ready Tactical AR15 Ambi Speed Mag Pouches to me. I couldn't have been happier. I picked up a couple of these and they were perfect for class. I didn't need full battle rattle but instead opted for simple, realistic gear for my civilian HD needs. These pouches went easy on my belt but were very stable. They allowed the mags to be placed in bullets facing forward or rear. This was great as I experimented with each method to find what worked best for me. They held the mags very secure as well. I highly recommend these pouches.
