Simple and sturdy
These are great, they're made out of one piece of kydex folded to hold the mag and to hold onto your belt. I find they stay in place better with a leather belt (not sliding around), but they also work very well with a much thinner and more slippery "instructor" or rigger type belt. Cosmetically the pouches are a little unusual, the proportions and gaps between the folded flaps are different between the two pouches I received. If yours arrive like this, don't worry, unless you're using them for a photo shoot or something. My two don't look identical, but the fit and retention are identical.
