    Great Product

I use these for competition with a 1911 and will continue to do so. They absolutely hold tight to your belt and stay put while moving and pulling mags out to reload. I've never had any kind of retention problem because they grip mags firmly but also allow them come out smoohly during a reload. I'll be buying more for my Glock.

    Review from a lady shooter

Posted by Darcie Leigh Edelkraut on 20th Sep 2010

I shot a gun for first time in June 09. Bought my Springfield 1911 A1 9mm in Sept 09 and started shooting IDPA matches 6 months ago. With girly hips I quickly realized straight bulky mag pouches did not work when running around deserts or diving into prone behind a truck. My reloads were awkward. I borrowed my instructors Ready Tac Pistol Mag Pouches and immediately improved. The self tension slight outward angle away from the body and firm belt grip accommodated my hips kept the pouch in place kept the mags seated snuggly and allowed me to smoothly get hold of the mags my tac and retention reloads improved tremendously. I bought 4 Ready Tacs of my own. My 1st IDPA regional match is in October. After that Im gonna order more to start tackling USPSA matches. With very few products out there designed for women these Ready Tac Mag Pouches were a great find and work so well for everyone. Ordering payment and delivery were quick and easy making this purchase a great experience.

    Fast and small

I shoot USPSA with these and they are the best production division mag holders available. I can fit 6 of them in the space 4 of any other brand take. The draw is fast and the retention is decent. I am very happy with these and will be ordering them for other setups as well.

    Great mag pouch

Posted by Justin Aycock on 12th Sep 2010

Just received my Ready tactical pistol mag pouches for my M&P .40c (CCW gun) and tested them out at the range. I can say enough good things about these pouches. Reloads are super fast and mags stay secure. I will buy more for my other pistols in the future.

    Fastest carry pouch ever

Posted by Ernest Langdon on 10th Aug 2010

I have been carrying and competing with handguns for over 20 years. These Ready Tactical Pistol Mag Pouches are the fastest most consistant I have ever used. Most kydex pouches can be really are to set up correctly, binding if they are too tight and not hold the mag in if they are too loose. These are always perfect and very forgiving if you have to pull them at an angle of other than straight up. I highly recomend these pouches for carry or competition. (8/10/10: Note- We just saw this review- thanks Ernest! FYI for those who don't know, Ernest is a USPSA & IDPA National Champion!)

    Solid Mag Pouches

Posted by Christopher Evans on 24th Jun 2010

I bought four of these to use in conjunction with my M&P9 when I shoot USPSA. Overall, they're great for what I use them for. Good retention, but they also release the magazines nicely on the draw. Pros: Good retention Fit my factory mags well Release well when you want them too. Fit my belt perfectly Good price Cons: My only complaint is that one or two of the pouches I got are a little finiky getting the magazine back in to the pouch. You really have to get the perfect angle on it. It doesn't cost me time in competition, but I do fumble around with it in practice, and preparing for the next stage, etc.

    "really" ready tactical mag holder

Posted by john on 24th Jun 2010

another product offered by skd i wish i had found before spending tons of money on other concealment and competition magazine holders. i have them for small frame/large frame glocks and could not be more pleased with there design, quality, and function. one size services my 9mm and .40cal glocks. i was so impressed i purchased 4 additioal holders for my .45cal glock. depending how i configure them and the belt selected, they work well for idpa and ipsc in any class i have done or plan to do. it's almost unbelievable how light, simple, and functional they are! inaddition, the customer service and custom fabrication can not be beat.

    FASSSST and very narrow

Posted by Kevin Allen on 25th Feb 2010

I shoot IPSC/USPSA competition in Production class and routinely carry 6 mags positioned behind my hip bone on my belt. Normal mag pouches don't pay much attention to how much real estate they take up on a belt so they tend to be rather wide. The Ready Tactical design is super narrow so I can get 6 mag pouches into a space on my belt that would normally allow only 4 or 5 of another brand's pouches. This is a HUGE advantage in competition!! PLUS, these buggers are fast! They use the natural tension of the pouch design to hold the mag in place but the pouch pulls open when you grab a mag thus reducing the friction and popping the mag right out when you grab for it. They hold the mag securely when I run and do all the acrobatics necessary for competition, but they fly into my hand when I grab for one. I just love 'em! A little hint. The Ready Tactical holsters are just as fast as the pouches. Consider that the hot tip of the day my friend.
