SKD Tactical Ball Cap, One Size Fits All

Man I can't say enough great things about this MADE IN THE USA hat from SKD. It looks good and has multiple velcro attachtment points to display your "Flair", Think OfficeSpace....... The bill is crazy rigid though and you need to have a Mr. Clean on each side of it to bend it down and roll it into place for daily wear so as not to look like some 'banger wanna be with a straight bill hat. Get the hat....NOW!

I purchased two SKD Tactical Ball Caps in Smoke Green. I bought one for me and for my girlfriend. I normally don't wear baseball caps because I prefer boonies or other widebrimmed styles. But I was very happy with this one. It has taped seams so my head doesn't get irritated. The brim is sturdy and has not lost shape. The hat has three velcro spots. There is a 2"x3.5" "female" side velcro spot on the front for mounting a flag or morale patch. There is also a small patch right on top for an IR reflector. What I really like though is that the velcro spot on the rear is also 2"x3.5" not just nametape sized. So you could mount a morale patch on the back as well. The size adjuster is elastic with a velcro adjuster underneath the lining. This makes for an excellent fit and keeps it snug. This hat is one of my favorites and I wear it often. Oh! And that girlfriend I mentioned? We are now married and expecting our first child. So it my have magic/romantic qualities as well.

When i first ordered this hat i was sceptical of the elastic band, but upon receiving it I couldnt be more happy. Great construction of the SKD Tactical Ball Cap. I also ordered the Team America patch and the Flag patch all in multicam. The multicam pattern looks great on hat and patches. Great range hat or just as an everyday hat.

I have recently bought my second one of these hats from SKD. They are a great quality hat. I have a kinda small head(7") and finding a hat that has a short enough crown is tough. So I was extremely happy with this hat as it seems to be a shorter crown than most and doesn't come down on my ears!! It also doesn't have adjuster and is just matching colored elastic in the back which is great as well. I have the coyote and multicam versions and one thing I have noticed is that the material used in the multicam hat seems to be different and stiffer from the coyote. My son has already stole my multicam one so it looks like I need to purchase a third one. Also, SKD is by far the cheapest I have found these and the shipping is fast!

I bought this item recently for airsoft. I like that Velcro comes on it for your flags, name tags, IR taps, ect. This hat is fully adjustable and is extremely comfortable. Not just some cheap hat, but seems to be made to last.

What I noticed about the SKD Tactical Ball Cap is the elastic band in the rear that allows it to be a one size fits all, flex fit cap. All of the other ball caps I have seen have some other mechanism that takes away from the overall finish of the cap. I own the coyote brown and it looks great. The two things I would like is a slightly larger velcro section in the front/rear to better accomodate the normal sized velcro flags and better ventilation. The velcro sections on the cap are just a smidge too short in the width dimension. Nothing major.

I have purchased two tactical ball caps from SKD in the last few months. The quality and fit of both is excellent. I wear the multi-cam version for hunting and I bought a coyote brown hat for general outdoor wear. The lightweight yet durable material should last for a long time. I use them shooting as well and like the fact that they fit well with my ear protection. I also purchased a couple of patches. Both were high quality. I would recommend these hats to anybody looking for a quality fit and function.

...gear. And this cap is the real deal. It is made in 'merica too. Not by some little bugger squatting on his haunches in a mud hut somewhere, feeding on his own filth. Oh, and I think it may be bulletproof too. I'm not sure about that, but me and Lamar are gonna check that out later after mom and her "friend" fall asleep.

Guys the quality of this hat is everything you would expect from an American made product. The illustrations that SKD uses provide an accurate portrayal of what you get when you open the box. I got the Multi-Cam version of the SKD Tactical Ball Cap, and I was slightly apprehensive about the Velcro back looking girly, no need to worry there, it is very comfortable too. The 1" Velcro square on top looks extremely dorky, in fact I took it off. I also felt the Velcro in the back was a bit much so I took it off as well. I bought this hat for casual everyday wear in civiliaian lifestyle for a typical outdoorsman. The Multi-Cam blends in awesome anywhere anytime. Overall after my slight modifications I really like this hat and would recommend this product.
