Spiritus Systems Expander Wing Mk 2 (Individually Sold)

The Expander Wing Mk 2 was built as direct replacement for the original Spiritus Systems Micro Fight Expander Wing Set with a focus on enhancing the product’s functionality for plate carriers. The wing attaches to a Micro Fight Chassis or 556 Placard with a hook & loop flap and can be mounted for increased storage capacity on a chest rig or under the cummerbunds of a LV/119.

Unlike its predecessor, the Expander Wing Mk 2 is completely reversible, and can be used on either the right or left side of the torso without any reduction in functionality or storage capacity. Spiritus Systems sells the Expander Wing Mk 2 individually for end users who do not require a full set for their loadout.

Wings used for chest rigs are mounted to the soft loop field on the back side of the Micro Fight Chest Rig. They also utilize our unique loop over design that attaches to your Fat or Skinny straps to ensure a comfortable and stable attachment that will not sag even with heavy items placed inside.

When used in conjunction with plate carriers, the Expander Wing Mk 2 will integrate with both hook & loop and TUBES cummerbunds. The wing features a TUBES bar pass-through so the cummerbund can be attached or separated without the need to remove the expander wing.

The Expander Wing Mk 2 is designed to hug the body which reduces their signature and securely holds items in place. The base Expander Wing Mk 2 pocket depth is 6" however, the adjustable internal retention strap can be lengthened or shortened to create the perfect pocket depth for your items. The top of the pocket also features double eyelets and a bungee retention kit, so radios and magazines remain secure during periods of movement.

The expander wing will hold most small & medium caliber rifle magazines as well as a variety of radio platforms like the MPU5, 152, 163, and smaller units like Motorola XTS 5000.

(Reminder: If you want a set of these, make sure to add TWO to the cart.)

Too big for a Motorola 5500 XTS but thinking I can rig bungee to snug it up.
