These thinks are overbuilt for sure, no problem holding a fully kitted out PC. The handle on the bottom is slick...makes it very easy to carry your gear around.

The ultimate weapon cleverly disguised as a hanger
Need a heavy-duty hanger for your plate carrier that can double as a club? Great piece of kit for lugging a plate carrier around (warning - don't wear the plate carrier while attempting to carry it). Good gripping handle on one side. Rotate the hanger around to hang it up on a hook or the super heavy-duty curtain rod in your man-cave. Only gripe is the hook sticks out so far, you have to remove it from the plate carrier to rotate it (handle vs. hook). Bonus - if the hanger rips the hook out of the wall, you might want to lose some weight... But whatever happens, this hanger will persist forever.
