Great Alternative to the Henley
As the title of this review suggests, the Velocity Systems long-sleeved, Rugby Shirt makes a great alternative to the long-sleeved Henley or tee. I've worn it on day hikes as well as backpack camping trips, and the Rugby shirt keeps me cool and protects my arms from the sun (preventing "farmer's tan"). The partially raised collar prevents slings and backpack shoulder straps from chaffing my neck. I'm constantly getting compliments when wearing these shirts, and highly recommend these shirts for outdoor activity pursuits.

Velocity Shirt
Love these shirts; I own 2 long sleeve and one short sleeve. Hardly feels like you are wearing anything. Awesome comfort.

Comfortable and Stylish
This shirt is comfortable and stylish! It is a great tactical range shirt that doesn't necessarily scream "TACTICOOL" or "TACTIFOOL." The material isn't quite what I was expecting. I thought it would be more like a moisture-wicking tech jersey. In stead it more resembles the fabric of an Under Armor heat gear compression shirt (although the fit is much looser). The fabric is a little more rubbery, very stretchy, and does not wick moisture as quickly. This probably helps keep you cooler for hot run-and-gun days at the range, but won't be as good for hiking, camping, climbing in the backcountry where staying dry can be paramount. The shirt is very comfortable under a chest rig, plate carrier, and/or pack. The high collar especially helps with plate carriers and rifle slings. As far as the fit, if you are not sure, go up a size.
