Try before you buy
Slings are very subjective accessories, and this one simply wasn't for me. The webbing is silky smooth, which is great for transitions and doesn't chafe your neck if you're not wearing a collared shirt. I couldn't get the sling to be short enough for my setup and body. Granted, I have a 31" waist, but other two point slings have had no trouble accommodating my frame. I mount my sling to the very end of my butt-stock and at the point where the front rail meets the upper receiver (mid way down the rifle). The other thing I didn't personally care for on this sling is the mechanism for adjusting the length 'on-the-fly'. Unlike other 'quick-adjust' two-point slings on the market, the Vtac sling has two separate movements to lengthen and shorten the sling. Im sure with more training I could have gotten used to it, but since it never fit right, I never got that far.
