The Viking Tactics Wide Padded Sling provides added comfort for heavier firearms. Same great features as original sling. The Viking Tactics, Inc. Wide (padded) Sling was developed after listening to feedback from our customers.
Customers with heavier firearms who wanted a wider, more comfortable sling with the same great features of the original Viking Tactics, Inc. sling. The Viking Tactics Wide Sling is made with a shoulder strap with closed cell foam for increased comfort.
The forward adjustable portion of the sling remains the same as the original sling, giving you quick, easy adjustments from any position.

Just the sling for your heavier rigs!
After purchasing a Wide Padded sling for my overweight AR10 Carbine awhile back, I knew this was just the sling I needed for my other AR10s! Plenty of adjustment, clear instructions on setup, plenty of padding to keep your neck from chafing with a heavy rifle, and built to last! I now own 5 Viking Tactical Slings. Thanks, SKD!

Affordable comfort.
Sling came highly recommended by friends, those without the padded option suggested I be sure to spring the extra couple bucks for the padding, those who have used these slings longer than I continue to be very pleased with the product. Just as I am.

Great Product
I have several of these for my AR platforms ad wil be trying one for a shotgun. These slings work smoothly and are great for tactical work. Highly recommended.

Worked great for me in Iraq!
I wore this exact sling in foliage green every single day during my time in Iraq and also during our mobilization. I loved it! WAY better than the stupid issue webbing sling. The great thing about this sling is the fast adjustment buckle...it is the same as the old-school ALICE pack shoulder strap adjusters for those of you old enough to have seen those. It works very, very well and the padding makes it not quite as uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. I am about to buy one in Multicam for home use and if/when I am deployed to A'stan. The foliage one still works well, though a little dusty. It cleans easily with a little soap/water and a soft bristle brush. The only complaint I have about the sling is the close-weave webbing part (where you adjust it) can get fuzzy easily. Every time it touched an area of hook velcro on my uniform, it got caught and made it fuzzy...nothing a lighter can't fix, but still frustrating sometimes. Still going to buy another one. :-)
