Viking Tactics Wide Padded Sling

The Viking Tactics Wide Padded Sling provides added comfort for heavier firearms. Same great features as original sling. The Viking Tactics, Inc. Wide (padded) Sling was developed after listening to feedback from our customers.

Customers with heavier firearms who wanted a wider, more comfortable sling with the same great features of the original Viking Tactics, Inc. sling. The Viking Tactics Wide Sling is made with a shoulder strap with closed cell foam for increased comfort.

The forward adjustable portion of the sling remains the same as the original sling, giving you quick, easy adjustments from any position.

    Very functional sling system

    I have purchased many systems in the past and this sling hands down blows them out of the water. One complaint is that it should offer accessories for different length rifles.

    good sling. Very comfortable. Only issue is to much extra sling hanging off of it. Can cut it down.

    This could very well be a 5 star product, I'm just not comfortable with it enough yet to rate it that high. Adjustments and quick and they hold. It seems there are a lot of unnecessary adjustment points that kind of get in the way, but again, that may just be me not being used to it and/or comfortable with it yet.

    This sling is the real deal, the oadded version is great and easily adjustable on my AR10. Makes carrying it in the field far nicer than the cheap web sling. SKD shipped quick with no problems, way to go !

    Sling is very robust, showing excellent stitching and materials throughout. Adjustments, both slacking and tightening are smooth and snagless. Free end of sling used for adjustment has tether to main length of sling, precluding it from drooping down to belt line where pistol magazines reside for right or left handed shooters. Tether is quickly released to make available all slack for quickly and tighly securing long gun to front or back. This is myy favorite quick-adjust two-point sling so far, this reviewer has used Magpul MS2 and BFG VCAS extensively. Only point of contention for users wearing armor may be padding that could snag when moving long gun from front to back, and dangling free end when untethered may pester some. A worthy purchase, made better by modest price and options.

    I have been using the original non padded version for awhile now. I needed something with a bit more padding due to the added weight on my AR these days. I figured I would go with the padded VTAC sling knowing it is exactly the same platform I have been using just with added padding. Excellent product and it being made in the USA is always a plus in my book.
