Previously licensed and distributed by BCM as the original GUNFIGHTER Charging Handle, VLTORs patented design is back on the market. Its the same exact charging handle design youve known and loved since 2009, simply re-released under strictly our own moniker.
The VLTOR Charging Handle is a patented design that redirects the force off of the latchs roll pin and into the body of the charging handle, which is especially crucial during support hand only manipulations. This design makes the charging handle stronger and less prone to roll pin or latch breakage. The VLTOR Charging Handle design has proven itself over the last decade, both domestically and abroad.
The Mod 4 (Medium Latch) charging handles are available now. Mod 3 (Large Latch) units will be available in 2-3 weeks. Mod 5 (Small Latch) and Mod 44 (Ambidextrous) variations will be available in the future.

The BCM is great. The extended latch makes charging with gloves much easier then the standard charging handle. If you don't have one, GET ONE!! I would like to take this chance to say how awesome SKD is. Even with the rush on anything gun related, they were still able to stick to their 1-day shipping guarantee. WOW!! Combine that with the $5 shipping, no backorders, and great return policy and you have the perfect online retailer. The saying on the backing of the SKD stickers is a nice touch as well....:)

Awesome charging handle
Never had an aftermarket CH before, just used the stock ones with an upgraded latch. This handle is sweet, now I want more for my other rifles.

Great Handle
I have the small charging handle. While the latch is smaller relative to the other sizes from BCM, you know you have a solid product when you do a one-handed charging. Having used the large latch, I feel that the small is the perfect size for me. The large latch tends to dig if you have your rifle slung. My previous handle was a stock charging handle from Stag, and while it served its purpose well, doing a one-handed charge was difficult due to the narrow thickness of the latch. The BCM latch has the perfect amount of thickness that adequately disperses pressure over your index finger. Furthermore, I noticed less wiggle in the upper. You're not always pulling straight back while charging the weapon; it's always back and a little to the left, which can cause resistance in charging. This resistance was all but eliminated with the BCM handle, leading to efficient manipulation of the weapon. Another solid product from BCM.

5.56 Charging Handle
I switched out to this handle several years ago. I am active duty law enforcement and use my M4 for duty and training. I almost exclusively charge the weapon with my off hand only using only one side of handle. Wear was very obvious on one side of the factory installed handle and I could feel the friction of it pulling to the side. After switching to this handle the charging operation is much smoother and you can feel the lack of friction. I just bought a new M4 and purchased a new handle before I even shot it. For me, this handle is going to be a mandatory part on any AR platform weapon.

Exactly what I needed, well made.
Installed a large scope on my AR and realized I couldn't activate the charging handle, whoops. Enter SKD. The Bcm gunfighter handle, large, worked perfectly. It is well built, good size pin for the lever and fit perfectly. I can now operate the charging handle with my support hand easily. Only 4 starts because there was no picture of the handle installed to give a frame of reference so I had to take a chance when buying.
